[ROM] Azrael X v4.0 1/30/2011 (3.70.651.1 OTA/HTC #15 kernel) - xda-developers

Azrael 4.0 is up and running. It is the best build yet to an otherwise flawless catalog. I know Ric isn't on ppcgeeks that much so I figured I'd post it here for those that love Azrael as much as I do and want the latest installment.

I love the azrael ROM I just updated and when itry the Sprint hotspo itgives me thedata call failure and turns my mobile network off was this feature removed or is this a problem? Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys quick question... Is this a Froyo ROM?

What does all these number and symbols mean

Ok i just noticed that on OMJ's ROm next to FROYO was the same 3.70.651.1 so im guessing that it is a Froyo rom, What does OTA mean?

OTA 3.70 is a Froyo Rom. Any Rom that is version 3.26 and up is Froyo. Android OS version 2.2 and up is Froyo. The format used in Rom thread titles is self explanatory once you understand the basics of Android versions and shipped Rom

OTA is abbreviated for "over the air" update. Each Rom chef begins their roms with a version numbering system of their choice. It has nothing to do with Android OS version or the shipped Rom version used in the Rom's base. The newest OTA Rom version for the EVO is 3.70.651.1 It has a totally revamped framework and is the best OTA version to flash. Flashing an earlier version is fine but I wouldn't do that. Just remember that HTC & Sprint releases OTA updates with their version number system which is a completely different thing from Android OS version system. The OTA's contain specific Android versions as well as fixes, etc. I hope this makes sense to you.
