Quick question, For you guys who are using Titanium Backup to restore things, I assume you just restore Apps and App Data and not also restore the system data? Or do you restore everything? I would assume that you dont want to restore system data when there are significant changes made to a ROM. Especially if you are coming for a 2.++ version of Fresh to the 3.++ one?

This allows your program to easily pull up your information and also allows for easy backups using a program such as Titanium. The problem is that when a user makes the backup on one rom/build/version and imports it on another, it can cause major issues. As is common with new versions of software, different options are added which also means more tables are created in your SQLite database file. If you take your old backup and overwrite that file, you have now broken that program. Plain and simple. It is called Titanium Backup… not Titanium Transfer Your Settings From One Rom to Another.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Sprint APA9292KT Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

So i installed fresh coming from 1.x and did a full wipe. Even reformat my sd card partitioned it and changed ext2 to ext3 to enable the apps to sd built in fresh, worked perfect on 1.x but doesnt seem to work on 3.x they install to the main memory as i see more memory being used and can only move to sd the apps that froyo allows without apps2sd built in. Something i am doing wrong or froyo just doesnt like apps2sd?
Tried 3 times already reformating everything and wiping everything but end up the same. Someone else runing into this issue?
Thank you

i had this problem with the 2.2 deodexed rom, but not with this one, try hiding some folders, (placing . in front of name.) open ur mem card in a file browser and clear out the .db files, and try clearing the cache/data under applications in settings. and reboot.

this fixed my FC's but gallery was still slow to load thumbs. i havent had that issue with fresh tho.

So slap me if this has been covered but I am trying to update my facebook and because it was baked in I believe as a system app I am unable to upgrade it has any else seen this issue or know a work around, I know I read somewhere there was a program that allowed you to change the permissions of a certain dir so you could remove something preinstall and I am thinking that method may allow me to remove the old version and or upgrade it. Thanks!
