OK, I just got my evo today, rooted it out of the box. flashed Fresh and am now stuck on the Fresh Evo start up screen. What did I screw up? It won't go past that.

I did wipe both before I installed.......all help thanked!

are you fully rooted?? this rom will assume you have Nand unlocked.

yes, simple root completed and recovery done.

Noob fully admitted here.

EDIT: rewiped, reflashed and all is FRESH now!

I downloaded this and it actually got the same 'behavior' as the fresh installed one. What was happening was my laptop was not able to connect to my wifi tether. However, when I got home, I tethered the iPad off of it with no problem. Not sure why, but all I cared about is the iPad connecting, so I'm good.

On a side note, I had some issues with the voice search during first few runs. First, it wouldn't open and kept FCing. Then, I opened it, and it wouldn't register any sound/voice. After multiple tries, it started working again.

Other than that, I don't see a huge difference in performance other than a very tiny bit of better performance and better flash support in browser. Oh yea, and a flashlight app =/

does *2 work with this rom? i get a FC when i try to call *2. "feature does not support the system version"

i have tried flashing this 4 times now. it installs great and it opens up and i get the following force close....google services framework (process com.google.process.gapps) i do the data and galvic wipes but it does the same thing every time.

any assistance would be good. not a noob to this. been fresh since my hero....

Have you tried to download the ROM again, just to be sure that you aren't working with any corrupted files?
