id really like to get this wrking as well. i tried the new one and the 2.1 football apk . one will install but do nothing (jus sends me back to home page) the other says theres an update, i hit download but it says it cant install update !! ANY HELP WOULD BE KILLER !!

yeah i dumped it also due to battery life would not carry me for an 8 hour shift at work and that is with light internet surfing
im looking for a rom that has lots of goodies and good battery life
i do appreciate everyone's work on making all the roms available
i would not even know where to begin to make a rom

I have had no issues I just run this rom with fresh add ons and not a problem. As far a battery I have the extended battery I run 4G and GPS and I am on the Internet all time. But I would have to agree that the battery life is not like his earlier versions.

OK PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THIS ISSUE !!
when u open/start a txt message and u go and tap on the message area the keyboard pops up but when u start typing it does nothing. the keys are reacting but nothing is coming up !! i have to close keyboard then reopen it (sometimes twice ) before it works !!
having same issue on both of my devices !

I have that issue as well. And I use Handcent.

I think the issue is the OverClocked Widget which I assume you are also using? When I uninstalled it the issue went away. When I re-installed it, the issue came back. I think it has something to do with the way it interacts with superuser access in the new version of the ROM.

this happened to me before & I never used overclock
it happened to me on 2.1 before also

I don't have that problem at all. But I use Handcent. I have ZERO problems.
