No. My original release dated 7/2/10 had the problem with voicemail. The current release has zero issues being reported and everything works fine, including 4G!

Hey Chris, thinking about giving this a go. Have a few questions for ya. Why do the you flash version one as if you are rooting your phone? Second why woud someone want the version without the radio/wimax?

Just curious before I flash,

Version 1 is a very user friendly version for flashing. There is no need to enter the recovery environment and it has included radio/wimax updates built in which will automatically update.

Version 2 is a .zip update of the system ONLY. This version is fully customizable and you may remove most apps which would notmally be locked down into the systems read-only memory.

I made a version without the radio/wimax updates so that users may use the radio versions of their choice.

I found out how to do this somewhere but I can't find the thread for the life of me. I'm still looking for it, if I find it I'll post it, but this is what I do.

You have to use adb.

1. Connect the phone with USB Debbugging turned on (Charge Only works for me) and get into shell. Once in shell type the following.

2. "remount rw"

3. "cd /system/app"

4. "ls" - This will give you a long list of .apk and .odex.

5. Now find the apps you want to uninstall and type the following

6. "rm name.of.app.apk"
"rm name.of.app.odex

Not all .apks have a .odex to go with them

7. Then just reboot and all is good.

Sometimes on step 2, I have to type "remount ro" and then "remount rw".

I have to say that Root Explorer has become one of my MUST HAVE applications on the phone ever since I got it. It has a lot of features and flexibility and can copy/paste/read/write everything on the phone including the system files. $3.00 well spent if you ask me

Woo Hoo!!! I'm finally rooted again!! Your ROM is the first thing I flashed, and of course it's running great! I also installed Root Explorer and removed all the crap I didn't use... definitely worth $3!
