Hey guys... I just installed this rom. I was using Sprint Lovers 12-27-10 release previously.
I've noticed that the phone will randomly wake up for no reason. Screen comes on and everything. I have also noticed that it will also not goto sleep mode when left alone. The screen will dim, but it will never goto lock screen and sleep. I have to always press the power button.
Its even worse when the battery is low (which makes no sense.. LOL).

I am running an SBC kernel, but I am getting not-so-good battery life when compared to Myns RLS5 rom that I tried for a few days. Any suggestions? I cant find whats causing it to not sleep and then randomly wake up.

I would try first flashing the oem kernel and see if that solves the issue. I am guessing that a third party app might be causing this issue. What apps do you have installed?

Well, I re-downloaded and re-flashed Sprint-lovers again, and left the standard kernel installed in it (the one that you package with it). The only apps that I have installed is Titanium Backup Pro and then I used it to restore a copy of Angry Birds I had backed up (gotta have Angry Birds.. LOL). I've been test driving this, and its still acting up.
I will say, that I may have it narrowed down to only happening when I am in a bad service area and the signal is weak.

The battery life is still really bad, and I can only get about 8 hours out of it. When I ran Myns rom with an SBC kernel i could get almost 2 days.

I really prefer the look and feel of your ROM, but I wish I could figure out the battery life and wakeup issues

Try the SBC HTC#15 Kernel. I've been using it for a while now and have had great results.

Hey guys, something I've noticed over the last few days that I can't send any email from my Gmail app, it stays in the outbox and shows a status of 'sending' constantly, never updating. Anyone else having this issue with the Gmail app?

If I sign into Gmail on my laptop and send, everything is fine.

I'm on the latest ROM from 1/26.

Try doing a Profile update and a PRL update.. that should get things moving.

Chris, do you have any plans to support Rom Updater by Giacomo Furlan?? Its in the market place...

Grab the first one since it includes baseband and radios and such. This way you know you have the latest stuff from Chris's rom.

As far as telling which rom you have afterwards, I am not quite sure honestly. I think its totally up to the chef as to how they set that up. You can tell alot by going into the settings menu and then going to "about phone".
