RE: Droid X keyboard...in the threads I saw at XDA it doesn't work with 2.2. All agree they'll have to wait for Droid X to get Froyo before a port can be achieved.

Could you guys gimme some names of the apps that aren't coming up. I haven't had any issues with the Market... All the apps I had and now have still are coming up. The market hasn't crashed, no force closed. I'm getting updates as usual.. Please post some apps and I'll check if it comes up on my phone.. I'm curious why everyone has so many market problems, yet mine appears to be ok.

Battery life I don't see much of a difference than before. Camera.. uh.. Well thats a problem.. I does only limit to 3mp. But I'm getting force closed on the camera. It ran for a bit but when I went to try and look at the settings I saw 3mp as the highest selection. I got out of the settings and FC... I might have to reboot cuz now I can't even get it to load up without going straight to FC.

if u are rooted, u are stuck w/ PRI 1.34_003. This is because that's what they used to exploit/root the phone. Hopefully Toast or someone else will come up with another exploit so we can use 1.40




no, dont install the 2.2 update, YOU WILL LOSE ROOT!!! also, you dont need to update to 1.7 first. Just flash my 2.2 ROM followed by the wimax update

on 2nd thought, flash my 1.7 ROM1 first cuz there's some firmware updates you will be missing

Ok I seem to need a tutorial also.

1. I have rom manager but flashed the RA Recovery 1.7 recovery to do a NAND backup
2. There are 4 options under backup Nand Backup, Nand+ext backup, Restore Nand Backup, Backup Google proprietary system files, Restore Google proprietary system files
3. I chose the first which was just NAND (is this correct?)
4. How do I update the kernel if I go to the 2.2 because I need Wifi tether and don't really need giant pictures for now although both would be nice.
5. I've been waiting forever to upgrade...(TWO WHOLE DAYS)....I need bluetooth voice dialing....(Which Froyo has right?
6. Who comes up with the silly names i.e. Froyo and what's the next one Cupcake or something for 3.0 lol
