Yes i was denied adb remount and push access after calks wimax, will test again later with a fresh install. I also am in a 4g area, so ill try the coverage too.

So I did the 1.6 update, then applied the WiMax update. Like the others, 4G is just stuck at scanning. Unfortunately I have tried going back to 1.5 and 4G still says scanning. I didn't try 4G between upgrading to 1.6 and installing the WiMax update. I suspect the WiMax update itself is the issue since 1.5 (which used to work fine) no longer works either.

WiFi, Exchange, and everything else work as well as always.

Like I said earlier, similar boat as Fast, while I did the Wimax I couldve been messed up before wimax and not noticed. Since he didnt touch wimax there is something in 1.6 messing with root.
Sprint pulled the update so Im betting on that. I didnt need to start back at Part I, just unlocking NAND worked for me.

Did you go back to 1.5 via a flash or a NAND restore? If you NAND restore that MAY restore your 4G.
Even if you restore an older version THEN flash 1.5 it may help. If the wimax update is messing with 4G then restoring a NAND may remove the update? NAND doesn't touch the radio but since it wasnt a full radio update it may get taken out with a wipe and restore.
Just a thought.

flash the rooted update. check to see if 4g is working, if not, install the wimax update and test.

Doing this at this moment will report in a few!!

ok so i dont know what i did but after i flash the rooted update. and try the wimax update and didnt work , i decided to flash the

and now it says 4g networks available, but like i havent been able to connect to it, but iam at home and there is only wimaz in street in philadelphia!! ill go outside and report in a bit!!

if u went back to 1.5 & no 4g, it's probably cuz u still have the wimax update, and it is meant only for the new update. what you could try is follow Toasts part 2 NAND rooting guide, I believe it will overwrite the wimax update....now try 4g & let us know :)

ok now i cannot connect to 4G becUSE IT SAYS MY PCS VISION USERNAME AND PASSWORD IT MIGHT BE INCORRECT

i just did the new rom update last nite, broke wifi tether not 4g... went back and re flashed 1.5, no wipe at all and everything is as was... t.g. lol !! seems like things r getin a lil complicated. is this a power move on htc/sprint end ??
