On a side note.... has anyone been able to download anything from the market with this ROM? I get the insufficient storage notice when I try to download or update anything through the market. I have 323MB left for storage on my device, not including the 16GB card I have.

Would like some feedback. Currently running omj's 1.2 and debating whether to go to 1.5 and wait for 1.7 to come out or install 1.6 and apply Calkulin's update.
Any others experience the same success?

How can I check to see if the OTA update was installed? I just want to make sure my son didn't install it on his phone. He says he installed a bunch of app updates but I want to make sure the OTA didn't sneak in there.

Also, how do I know which version of the ROM and radio I have installed? I know I am running an OMJ ROM and updated radio, but how do I know which ones?

Go into your settings menu and click on "about phone" .... software info.

From home screen... Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software information

It will show you the Baseband which is your radio, and the Build number and Software number are your latest versions. The OTA update is 1.47.651.1

Err...I have OMJ's 1.6 with the new radio. Wifi works just fine, including tethering, although I am not sure about Wimax because I am not in a Wimax area. I flashed OMJ's 1.6 ROM, then the radio and then wimax update from this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=713770 Everything seems to be working great.

I just updated to OMJs 1.6 using ROM manager, then downloaded new radio.zip from xda forums and updated radio. Noticed that I could not get a 4g signal, but 3g speeds were at blazing 2mb according to speed test app. Installed caulkins ...wimax.zip (posted early this am) update via ROM manager and did get a decent 4g connection speed test showed 3.3 Mb dl speed. Tested WiFi connection to home router and it works without issue. So I am happy to report that all is well with OMJs latest update... thanks.

yeah I just read thr thread & saw your posts....I think the key piece we are missing is the actual new radio, not just wimax....I am testing now, but it looks like 4g will require to flash the new radio...I'm gonna upload it now.

ok, there has been some developments....there is now a full radio image, but the wimax image is still seperate. Since I had flashed the wimax image that Calkulin posted yesterday & lost recovery, I went back through the part 2 rooting process, restoring the Toast recovery & back to an old radio. I then flashed the full radio, then the wimax image. I then flashed v1.6 again....everything appears good, of course I cannot test 4g, but awesomeindeed has & confirmed 4g is working.

I am uploading a v1.6r ROM that will have the full radio included but the wimax will still need to be flashed seperately for now.
