Not sure if this has been covered, when I restart my phone, sometimes 4g is automatically enabled even though it was not enabled when I restarted the phone. Anyone having this issue? I did flash a new kernel and don't know if that would cause this.

Yeah, I have noticed it too. It is really frustrating me because I like 4.4, but this battery life thing is KILLING me.

I installed a kernel that is supposed to give me better battery, and it did charge better, but my discharge rates are still as bad. My usage comes a lot from standby. From unplugging when I got up to arriving at work (2 hours and 15mins) I had lost 15% of my battery already. Here is my usage:
Android Sys- 29%
Cell Stdby- 30% (Time w/o signal 0%)
Phone Idle- 23%
WiFi- 10%
Display- 8%

Sure, I was on facebook and the internet, but that just seems silly.

I'm going to downgrade my radio to 2.15.00.09.01 and update my profile and PRL(again) to see if that helps at all.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

1.90_003 . . . now we may be getting somewhere.

So downgrade both or just the PRI? I was reading about what exactly a PRI is, and one person mentioned that a mismatched Radio and PRI can cause issues with 3G connections, GPS fixes, and the like. Do you know anything of this?

Good enough for me. Thanks for the help. I'll report back in a few days.

Just an update, I'm testing out new kernels and flashed the HTC KERNEL #15 v7 last night and fully charged the phone. My phone has been off the charger for two hours and still have 100% battery. I also have "woke" the phone up several times as well. This so far is looking good.

100%?!? That's nuts. I loose about 1-5% within a minute of unplugging my phone.

On your tip I flashed their aggresive HAVS (not entirely knowing what I am doing), and also saw my 100% stick around for much longer.

I will post screen shots later tonight of system panel.
