ouch, just ran speed test using tether, and for some reason even though it sees me on sprint pcs on the site it puts my location in england :scratch:

anyhoo, i picked the server physically closest to me (rochester ny) and here's my rather disappointing results...

I havent tried the root version, so I dont know....

personally I stick w/ the stock kernel, seems pretty good....yesterday when I put the phone on the charger, it was @ 13.5 hrs, still at 74%.....though I had light use.

if you're interested, give them a try, just do a backup 1st, just in case.

them are some ugly #'s....


I just tried a speed test, also showed me in Europe, that is why we're getting bad speed test....something is hosed!

a sprint speed test wasnt much better, though I dont have the greatest signal @ work....

yes sir they are ugly, i found the europe thing odd too but look at the distances in the charts, it said wherever i was was 5600 miles from rochester (physically i'm just around 100) but 3500 miles from the england site it said was closest to me:disgust:

I'm really digging this Rom, I tried using Spare Parts for changing the Boot animation but upon rebooting it doesn't change. I tried researching this problem but haven't had any luck! any info on this?
