So it appears that I am not "fully" rooted. So now I have some more work to do. Thanks for all the help WinMo.

loving this rom. but i am having a crazy problem i can't figure out. i can't get NAVIGATOR from google to show up anywhere even after installing the new update to google maps. any ideas why this would be? this is nuts... i used it a ton before installing this rom now can't figure out where this icon has gone it is not with my other program icons and yes i know the icon is a blue compass like arrow.

search turns up nothing. where the hell is this thing.

Google maps and nav working fine here.
Look for and app called navigator.

What version are you on? Are you using the "cleaned" version posted by Tilde88? It doesn't look like he touched it but just askin'.
Did you make any other mods that could've caused it to be removed?

Looking for just a plain slip pouch without belt loop or clip.
Something thin for the pocket.

My wife has the black HTC gel slip cover and it is fine, but with all gel covers they suck pulling in and out of your pocket. I have the best buy Platinum case (the black one) and it comes with a belt clip in case you want to use it, but you don't have to. It was $35 and it is relatively thin, but is easier to get in and out of your pocket than the gel cases are.

thx bro....hopefully she'll like it....I just tested & can easily get 24 hrs on a charge, though I charge every night, it never gets that low

I assume Froyo on you N1 & obviously no Sense......can't wait till we get Froyo, and I'm a big Sense fan!

I'll probably reinstall 1.4a again tomorrow to see if I can get it to work again.

I tried for the 1st time today & could not get it to work, kept getting force close....I was in the car so I couldn't do much but install another version w/ no luck.

I flashed via Rom Manager, I gonna reflash but 1st go into recovery & wipe manually 1st

+1 on the Wifi tether FC'ing. Fully rooted, can drop back to ver 1.3 works fine.

edit: Flashed ver 1.4 3 times following all the wiping steps and such- no go.

Press the menu button, then Settings>Applications>Manage Applications and look for whatever flash versoin is on there.............but it's not!
