OMJ 3.5 ROM with Sapphire theme keeps looping at Spring 4g logo. What's up with that?

So you are suggesting to install ROM without Sapphire theme and install Sapphire theme on top of it?

@OMJ: Can you please update 3.5 Sapphire theme ROM in ROM-Manager? It's bad and loops at "Springt 4G".

Yes, for some reason and I am one of those, stacking the ROM and Theme together loops. Just install one at a time and you will be fine.

so install the deodexed rom, then downlaod adn install the sapphire rom because it is like a theme???

This might be stupid, but I don't see a theme anywhere on the first page so I am guessing it is the first download... which has rom files and the theme included...

Could anyone help us with this? We would like to connect an EVO phone on to our own WiMax base station, not Clearwire's. We do this as a closed-door technical project of our own, not to use it commercially. Thank you.

The ROM being/not being in ROM Manager has nothing to do with boot loops.
See below...

The Saphire Themed ROM has been looping for some (including me) not sure why.
You have a greater chance for success if you install the 3.5 Deodexed Base ROM and let it set up completely.
Then download just the theme to your card from here:
[Themes/Fixed][Update 9/24][Tested On 3.29 Base] Konikub's Themes with Gallery FC Fix - xda-developers
and flash it like a ROM, without wiping.

damn this is what happens when you only check ppcgeeks like once a week... im still stuck on v3.1. will v3.5 today and let you guys know how it goes.

Me too, right after release. some got an incomplete D/L, re-downloaded/flashed. Worked. I just re-flashed and it took the second time. (pull batt., boot into recovery, re-flash)
