So i guess app2sd was causing tether not to work
was it wireless tether or wired that wasnt working?
how was this confirmed that it was a app2sd/tether conflict

did anyone test different versions of tether or app2sd?

It was a wireless tether issue.
I tested different kernels and different versions of tether, nothing worked.
It was confirmed when OMJ pulled aps2sd out and tether worked #-o

I know tether and aps2sd do coexist in other ROMs.

EDIT-btw Calks hack to get the native WIRED tethering working works on OMJ 3.5 so I assume it will work on 3.4. So no 3rd party wired tether needed.

I have searched and cannot find anything on this...using OMJ's EVO 2.2 FroYo v3.5 Deodexed w/ Stock Kernel...

Trying to USB tether, works on 3G, but 4G disconnects and will not aquire and IP address...as soon as I disconnect the cable or disable tethering, 4G comes right back up and connects.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I just got a pm from Tkirton saying there was an coding issue but it has been resolved. I think dsixda grabbed the initial version of 2.7.5.1 but it was corrected and posted as 2.7.5.1.

I'll download his latest & test it out, but I may not have time until next week, as I'll be on the road wed am till sun.

I have Calc's USB hack in 3.5 deodexed & themed

sorry, but I have no idea why 4G would not work on wired tether...

How are you OMG,
I flashed "OMJ's EVO 2.2 FroYo v3.5
Sapphire themed w/ Stock Kernel" today from using the recovery method, but after flashing it my phone is stuck on the "white 4G and sprint animated screen'' and its not going to the main menu.
I then try to reset my phone to its the factory setting by going to the recovery mod but still it gets stuck at the same place...
I need help please...
what can I do to make my phone work ?](*,)
