PPCGeeks - [FINAL] OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.6 | FroYo 3.70.651.1

Pull the batt, boot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik.
When it boots navigate to set cpu as quickly as it will let you and try to decelerate her :)
It may take more than one attempt.

did the wipes but I can't get to setcpu to decelerate.. It slows down right then... SUCKS... :disgust:

on my 4th attempt now.. =D> I just don't want to restore to an older backup... it's over 1 week old I think... DAMN...](*,)

Any suggestions for the ADVANCED tab?
I got the following:
Samp Rate = 20000
Up Thresh = 95
Ignore NL = 0
PowerSave = 0

Uhhh just tried the setting 1228 mhz and evo froze up. I am gonna stick to 1190 for my overclock setting....

It seems like I might be missing something or u have 1 extra option listed above. I only get 4 options under my Advanced tab..

I think I'm going to have to uninstall and reinstall setcpu. the profiles aren't working right... It's supposed to be decelrating once battery levels go down but it's not... It was working before my "Hiccup" a few minutes ago... Crap....

Seems like I always mess my phone up right before I have to go to sleep... :angry7:

Cool.. U can get the 1190.. I froze up at 1190...

I added a profile under Charging so that the CPU gets decreased while USB charging. I read a post that is a way to stop boot loops.. Just what happened to me a moment ago..

any one have a good link where I can read up on what all SetCpu does and most importantly what all of it means? Yours guys posts are like a foreign language to me....and I wanna mess around with it :scratch:
