Problem/solution *should* still be the same. Try reflashing the recovery from clockwork. Use clockwork recovery or if you want amon RA then flash clockwork, go back to ROM Manager and select alternate recovery from the bottom of the menu.

thanks alot, you saved my life

Dude just call Sprint. If you run into a problem hang up and call back. I got it with one call, about 30 seconds.

Droid X Multitouch KB works great! Darklord will be very happy.

THIS

OR

THIS

The second way will prevent loss of data.

Remember you may have to try multiple times.

How did you root?
There's a chance you are not nand unlocked.
Do you have quickboot installed? Use it to boot into bootloader or do it manually by powering off then back on while holding volume down.
What is your hboot version? .76.2 means you are nand unlocked (and a lucky SOB is you have that AND 1.40 PRI) If it is .79 means you are not "fully" rooted.

I did the subernoob root and always use the power off hold down volume down then power on and use my pc to load any roms root ect. I know there is an easier way but that's how I learned and that's what I use.

I have 0.79.0000 beside HBOOT. So how on earth have I been able to load all these rom's, themes and ect???

EDIT: I did do the pc36img and all that other jazz.

Well you are an interesting case. Unlocking nand via toast's method was how we all got knocked back to 1.34 PRI.
To me if you have 1.40 you never had your nand unlocked or like OMJ said you are incredibly lucky and got updated from Sprint somehow.
The other reason I think you may never have had it is because you haven't been booting directly into Recovery; you've been using your PC. A unlocked nand allows you to boot directly into Recovery.

If you ran OMJ v1.7 ROM1 PC36IMG then you HAD to have had your nand unlocked or the file wouldnt run. And now it appears you lost it somehow.
You can run without it but everything I've read says you'll see issues as ROMs are written as if you have it.
If you do you'll get knocked back to the 1.34 PRI and have to hope you can get back to 1.40
Choice is yours.

You can follow these instructions to unlock it. Post #2, Section 2 Version 2 using the PC is what I'd use.

Um... yeah. Is it still 3MP?

Or does the old rule apply, set your cam to 8mp, then install rom and it will say 3MP but be 8MP?
