Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 11/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP
Yes, I have auto adjust off. Don't really get it. Battery life without mobile shell is good, but I think I've had better. It is really cold here lately, so it could be partly that. So many variables, so little time.
Phone still working bugfree, although needed to soft reset after playing with streaming trying to see if I could really get broadcast TV using streaming. Didn't work for me. Have you ever tried?

Re: Obviously Stable ROM | Updated 11/25 | All Carriers | 21876 | 25MB PP
mysteriously, battery seems better now. Yesterday I ran with ms off all day, still had 60% left at night, started mobileshell, forgot to put it on charger, still had 50% in the morning!
Maybe it was related to the g-alarm in startup or even phcanvga, who knows? still running bug-free, till I dropped it this morning, screen went crazy, I was afraid it was dead, but after pulling the battery twice, it's back to normal! I'm going to keep ms running in background, I like htchome2 status screen just fine. Going out skiing with my bluetooth helmet and see how we do! music player doesn't seem to use hardly any battery, bluetooth isn't bad either, I'll keep it in my jacket nice and warm and see how we do. What autoupdates do you think mobileshell does? How do you turn them off? |

I have no clue and was stabbing at the wind.

in the wind was very appropriate yesterday. While my phone stayed (relatively) warm in my jacket, my bluetooth helmet failed because it was too cold out. When I got home I read the manual. Bluetooth not to be used at less than -4F. It was -10F at the top and that doesn't even count wind chill!
On another note, seems like opera burns some battery, I used it for less than an hour this morning (inside) and phone went from 100% off the charger to 80% pretty quickly. I'm in an EVDO region, so it makes me wonder. What's up with opera failing with plug-ins enabled on both ppcgeeks and ed/tp? Shouldn't we have those sites wired (or I guess wireless)? Will we ever get a flashplayer that actually works for winmo? |

LOL @ BT temperatures. Honestly I don't know what all is going on but you'll just have to play with it and see.
As far as Opera using battery, yeah it happens. |

I use opera all day, but I don't go to regular sites, mobile only. They fit better on the phone and don't have a bunch of flash to burn the battery.
5pm today, was at 70%. Several phone calls, texts and Push Activesync email. Lots of checking scores and facebook in Opera. |

Awesome SPB Mobile Shell Rom. Seems to be more polished than Caulkin's and Rstg's version of SPB Mobile Shell. Been using it for about two weeks now and loving it. Very responsive and bug free(for me so far). Battery life has been better than most roms that I have tried. Thanks.
