Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50255; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

I had stated in the rom thread tha I am able to get opera10 to use the internet tab. I now see that the favorites come from IE. The shortcuts will still launch O10, but operas favs don't show on the internet tab.

Last night I cooked a 21870 rom and the htc message let me open a message. Now this morning I got a text...it won't open. It tried but it just won't. And the new messages don't show up in the all messages file either. What do you think?

Took your Sense folders and inserted into my custom kitchen,

cooked a 23088 rom, works like a champ! no issues here!

Thanks man for your Manila 2.5 files!

First off i just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work, i loved you roms and now you kitchen, keep it up. I do have one request though. Just wondering if there is any chance of including the new version of MyPhone in the kitchen, its not a huge deal but would be nice. Thank you again.

If you use this cab, it will automatically install the newest version of MyPhone, saving you all the hassle of updating. It can also be uninstalled whenever there is a new version available down the road.

OMJ,

Not sure if this is fixable or not but gonna see if you have an idea. After a soft reset, or anytime a data connection is not active, the weather won't initiate a data connection on it's own if you tell it to update :(

I have tried checking and unchecking the setting to download automatically thinking that maybe if it was checked it would allow the weather tab to initiate it's own data connection but no go :(

As it stands now, i have download automatically unchecked and just update it manually when i feel the need, but have to go initiate a data connection in the comm mgr if one is not active already (that's the part that sucks)

Is yours behaving this way? Or is there a reg somewhere to allow sense to initiate the connection on it's own as it has with previous versions?

Thanks

So far though, that is the ONLY thing I've found  This kitchen is totally AWESOME Buddy!

Edit: Ok, i found that if i disable "my location" (which is bugy and works intermittently) and just load my city manually it will auto initiate a data connection to download the weather. (I think maybe you said way back in the other thread that this is how you run your phone)

Ok, I'm back with the same problem I had before with the kitchen. I downloaded the file anew, unzipped it to the desktop and proceeded to run it from the desktop. Once the gui came up for the kitchen all I did was click on device/diamond followed by load rom. I typed an "o" in the dialog box which then presented me with the 3 preloaded saved roms. I selected 23504 and then clicked on create rom. After several minutes of what appeared like error free processing, the bottom of the log file looks like...

I know when I was building 2.5, it was typically the message client for SMS not working, but never figured out the MyLocation.

i think that theres is an issue with the connection. notice that when ever u are already connected it actually works but if u push update when you not "online" then it wont work because it doesn't even try to connect.

personally im using a modified version of nrg. i changed all the manila files to the new ones, added all the tweaks and mods, it took some time to do but everything works great.

Both should work if setup correctly using the right dependencies..

Mylocation requires:

GoogleLocationService_1_0_1_21
HTCGeoService 1_0_19192827_00
