There havent been many huge updates to sense 2.5. Only the Manila locker. And what i have seen on SYS updates, the ones that are in the last kitchen update are running just as good as any of the new stuff.

Did you try using OMJs kitchen to cook sense 2.5? I am just not sure what updates you guys are looking for.

just the full package kitchen with the latest SYS's

I prefer to just download the whole kitchen usually then to amend the other one

Like i said, other than the Manila locker, there havent been any updates to the core Sense 2.5 package. As for the SYS, I know that it would be nice to see something different but as OMJ has stated before, newer doesnt always mean better. Im sure that if he has found a SYS that is just outstanding, we would know about it and he would post it.

i thought there was a new album too, theres a new sys that seemed to work well for him (28011) and I think MyPhone and Marketplace both needed an update.

nothing major forsure for a big release but im still on 28002 with the message freezing

I understand the SYS update you are looking for. Da_reeseboy released a SYS and ROM that you can just drop into OMJs kitchen. As for the album, im pretty sure OMJ released an EXT package a couple of pages ago. I dont use myphone and marketplace so i cant help you there.

I'm actually looking for a kitchen with one of 218xx SYS/ROM updates along with the Leo and later packages. I used Calkulin's kitchen with the DaReeseboy files that you spoke of and got some nice things. But I had to find a MSVC EXT that worked as his didn't include it.
I just want a newer set of drivers & apps that are normally included in the SYS. I'm using 21882 right now with MS3.5.2 and its pretty good, but a little slow. But I love the new dialer, contact and messaging apps. In conjunction with PI9.1, this thing rocks. I just ordered a Hero for my son and a new Pre for my wife, but I'm waiting for myself until something better than my modded Diamond comes out.:thumbright:

Well, I must say, OMJ, your stuff looks the best, and easiest to use of all the kitchens I've looked at...

I've had my Diamond since launch day (I'm on Telus, not sure if its any different for other carriers..), and have been using Juicy roms from the first few, until one of the later Juicy 7 roms...

About a week and a half ago, I finally decided it was time to upgrade, and seen that Juicy left the scene, with what sounds like a buggy v8 release, so I thought I'd take a shot at cooking my own rom..

The first kitchen I dl'd was yours, and I must say, it is the easiest.. I tried a few different ones, and I kept coming back to yours..

I've got a few questions about a few things with what is what with cooking roms, but I'll hold off on those for now, and ask 2 questions.. whats the difference between the 2.1 and 2.5 Senses? And secondly.. where do I put the nbh files for new roms in the kitchen, so I can modify a new rom release?

Thanks, and I hope to be quite active in this thread.. since it intrigues me... ;)
