I have managed to get it to run a few times but not all channels work and i get errors for the most part. Are there any tweeks or settings i should be changing? PS youtube is flawless for me(if that matters)

Can you try the channels again and let us know whether you seem to have more success running channels that use the Windows Media Player vs. channels that use the Coreplayer? That may give us a clue. The channels generally work fine here in the US (well, a few don't work at this point, like MSNBC, Animal Planet) but there seems to be a streaming restriction for Telus customers. I guess if we can find out if you have trouble with certain types of streams there may be a way to fix the issue for some other channels.

Try loading the Coreplayer again (pretend there is no cooked-in version) into main memory, not internal storage. That should fix your problem - unless you are a Telus customer.

EDIT: I scrolled up and see you are on Telus. Try the Coreplayer fix anyway. Somehow Telus is trying to restrict streaming, from what others have said.

I guess youtube is ok, but these are rtsp:// and mms:// streams, which can be blocked separately by a provider, from what I have read. However, the fact that some channels worked is encouraging. Let us know what you get after you load Coreplayer again.

For the Album viewer, the images are not centered. There is a black bar on the left and when the menu pops up one of the options don't appear. I flashed the ROM to stock and back a couple of times but it always appears. I don't know if there is a fix or if I should install an older version of the HTC album.

Other than that great ROM!

Thank you PMD! Your rom has been the most stable and consistent rom out of the ones including 6.5.X and UI 2.5. I like how you did not preinstall opera and gmaps and fbook to allow us install to internal storage although I would've like myphone to be preinstalled :P So far everything has worked and the Manila TV was a really great addon with a ton of good channels! which saves us so much time and it worked flawlessly. Only things I would think to make it even better is another way to navigate the channels in manila like a speed dial by access through a menu button and more keyboard options.

Currently my main ROM and loving it, thanks again and look forward to future releases.

Great rom. 1 Con though. Can't open picture messages. Is there a way to disable sense's sms so I can just use windows sms?

This is how you disable it. I tried it and it works. The only thing that didn't work was clicking on the message to open up the message thread. You either have to click on write a new message or open all messages and then click on the thread.

Could just have been a glitch for me though. Other than that it works.

Sorry I just noticed this. I'm sure by now you've figured it out but just in case any one else has this issue... Sometimes bad flashes just happen. In the event you expierience the issue where installation freezes or stops before reaching 100% you can simply disconect the usb cable, remove and replace the battery, and then hit the power button. This will trigger the phone back to the boot loader screen. Plug in the USB and eith retry flashing the new rom or flash to the last stable rom you had.

I'm not expieriencing any album issues, however you're not the first person to mention it. Can anyone else advise if they're having album bugs and if so what they are and if they've been able to resolve them?

yeah your latest 2.5 is failrly good for some reason now messaging is verry laggy..even after reboots...wasnt like that at first..but still the best 2.5 ive used.

This is a VERY nice rom, my hats off to you. I am experiencing the album problem as others have mentioned, with a black bar across the top and the picture not being centered. I also cannot zoom. I also have a lag wait time to be able to click on the text message box. Other than that this rom is pretty sweet.

Update: Well for me it seems that the text messaging stall that occurs when trying to quickly reply to a text happens when there is a long thread of texts for a certain person. I deleted the tread and started fresh and didnt get the stall or lag.

Anyone having problems using the keyboard in landscape mode, missing the right side from "p" on... If so, any ideas what the fix is?

PMD this is a great rom, when you start working on your next rom, how about leaving any programs that don't need to be on the device memory out.

ahh, well the manila TV is essentialy part of manila just like the camera tab or calendar tab once it's added so it has to be on the device. Coreplayer can be added to internal storage but parts of Manila TV would have to be re-written in order to point it to coreplayer on the internal card. I thought about doing it that way but then I decided that it would make things more complicated for the end user to set up. Coreplayer only takes up about 2mb anyway.

any particular reason why rom would be slow after using it since its realese?...at first it was snappy and fast now its lagggggy..ive used cleanram infact i have it on a schedule..but i cant even text anymore its so slow...is there somethin i can do that cleanram doesnt?

OK well ive been looking through the registry, looked in alot of places, could u maybe show me the path, and maybe the value or something like that...... as u can probably tell i'm a noobi @ this, but its fun, Thanksk man, I dont want to change the wrong value and not know how to get back lol thanks, also any word on the SMS and MMS issue? only way to accuse MMS is through the Start then to System and then finally Messaging.
I did notice one more thing, when you try to view a Pic through Photos and Videos then select Albums, select a pic, then try to zoom in via Dpad n circles the screen goes to some kind of glitch, seems its distorted and confused...... I got to tell ya if these little issues could be fixed I would never switch to another Rom ...ever..... This one has excellent potential keep up the good work love it so far!

The above is a sample of the reg key where you go to change the softkeys on the home page. The Left soft key (LSK) is set to phone by default I believe. Just go in to this registry and for HomeRSK Path put the file path to the camera, which should be windows/camera.exe or something along those lines. Then change the HomeRSK Name to "Camera" or Whatever you want it to say on the screen.

As for the MMS issues I cant really help with that as I dont have MMS on mine. I use email for all that stuff (Cheaper :D) SO if anyone can help him figure this one out I'd appreciate it.

jus wonderin is anyone else havin issues using tv,weather,youtube,etc. works fine on wifi but not on my internet connection i can also browse the web jus fine so idk why it wouldnt work

Everything i tested on this ROm worked well.
One thing though on senseUI the text messages appear out of order. For example AIM messages appear on top of most recent messages 2/25/10 AIM is on top of 2/28/10 normal text.
Also i get pretty bad battery life, fully charged started at 7:00pm then after fixing a few contacts and letting it sit in my pocket for a few hours, at ~11:00pm its down to 50% :(, 2:00am it was at 20%.

Great theme, great rom.

Has anyone able to fix the pictures being off aligned and ability to view picture messages in HTC Messaging (without having to go to Windows Messaging)?

I just downloaded the ROM and so far I liked it so far, and has lot of potentials to become a great ROM. Thanks PMD.:headbang:

you can install swipe keyboard to the internal storage card to and it still works good, i have been using it for a few weeks now and have not run into any issues running off the internal storage card

just wondering if anyone else has this problem, in order for me to update my prl (either with *228 or manually downloading one and using ##775 doesn't work) I have to flash to stock and then do the update and then reflash

I've been watching the new systems for something stable but they all seem to have bugs that make them not worth updating to. I've been absent this week with a lot going on though so if you have any suggestions I'm all ears :mrgreen:
