I would like to see the cookie mod and have my battery last a little longer (I'm not sure what is draining it). Also, I would like to see more TV channels but, the biggest problem is the lack of a easy shortcut for the Task Manager.

Hi PMD/GeorgePa
I was hooked to your rom, then I tried OMJ latest, The battery life is so much better in his 2354x builds. I am missing the manila TV. I did installed the TV cab, but then channel list is gone. Can you post the channel list here.
It would be great if you can have both manila TV cab and channel list posted on first page.

OMJ and the Fearless rom are both using it on their Diamond roms so you'll have to ask them where to get it.

It's not cooked in. Doesn't work well with the diamond so it gets left out to save space.

Sure, I have a refurb replacement arriving soon from Sprint, and was planning to try some ROMs I haven't yet sampled. Yours is one of them.

quick question before i try this new version, is there a cab out for just the tv app!?? meaning with all thos channels already plugged in?

Nope there's a cab but not with the channels. Those are exclusive to this rom.

It looks good.

I cant seem to get the TV working. It gives me the error: Could not open URL! (FFFFFFF0). Also, When you are in Misc. settings, it will not allow me to go to the home page by pressing home.

Also, it would be nice if you did not cook Lumos into the rom just because I am not a huge fan.

Is that every channel or just some? I know some channels have quit working since the release last month.

Yeah, I was in the midst of working up a killer update for the TV cook-in, when the bottom fell out. All the channels that were part of the MobiTV lineup disappeared overnight. We are talking almost all the good channels. They decided to encrypt their entire lineup now, which makes all their channels unusable to us now. Bummer. It left basically only about 20 channels, some of them amongst the less interesting ones. I am working up a new lineup and am just about finished with it, but it is a complete revamp. I found another way to get some of the premium channels incorporated, but it requires a little more TLC on the user's end. I'll explain further when I am ready to submit.

@PMD: The new lineup of channels relies on the Skyfire browser to an important extent. It is best to turn the phone sideways before opening channels (instead of having to flip after a channel is opened.) Does the latest update support landscape mode for the Sense UI? That would solve the problem I am looking at with Skyfire.

The landscape works fine with long press on the send key, however I cant figure out how to get it to auto rotate using the g-sensor.

I was just working with landscape mode. I find that with the TV app the channel names and descriptions are no longer visible in landscape mode, but work fine in portrait mode. Do you find that, too, or is that something that is just messed up on my end?

Yeah I can see the channel logos but the names are covered up in landscape mode.

I just installed the cab today on my verizon phone with the trial. It said there was an update. I ran it, nothing happened. Went back and re-opened mobitv and it loaded up fine.

Well I have loaded it up, and I love the theme. The movement is fluid and the icons look great.

However, my battery was extremely hot when it was all setting up, and the battery is draining at about 10% every 10-20mins. The TV links give me an FFFFFFE8 error no matter if I start them in landscape or portrait and they open w/ Core player. I also still cannot log in to windows live for some reason. There is a newer version available of Microsoft My Phone, Windows live, and it looks like marketplace as well, and none of the ##phone codes work. I do like how there is a folder marked "phone codes" though; those do work very well!
If you need me to test out any particular feature, just let me know. thanks for an awesome rom :)

Also, I'm having trouble getting the "Notifications" screen to come up, and when it does, it still leaves notifications after I click "select all"

this thread pretty old... may be you just download a new rom ?? like Enegry or Amikam...or OaT. Energy and OaT still update the WM like 6.5 and 6.5.5, try it.
