[DISCONTINUED] OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21895 / 23569

I just flashed GTX on my diamond and realized that out of the 4 rows and three columns of quick link's, i cant only use the first row in the first two columns and the only the first tab on the last column. the icon will not show up after i selected one. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I tried refashing and cleaning storage. any suggestions anyone?

HI All, I am new to the forum and practice of working with cooked ROM's but am excited to join the community. I have been working with my old Diamond flashing it with several ROM's and have found OMJ to be the best (great work and thanks!).
I have run into one issue i need some direction on. I apologize in advance if this is posted elswhere and accept any admonishment in advance and beg for your indugence while I find my way around.
Here is my issue; i have flashed the phone and gone through Sprint to have the phone activated. however, on the two occasions I have tried this Sprint has not been able to activate the phone. They ask me to run the "Update Profile" item which was on the original ROM but that I cant locate on the cooked OMJ ROM. Also, I dont see a GPS program which I tend to use the phone for frequently and wondered if there is another install I can run to add that feature?

here you go...

Install the Sprint Update profile & PRL cab to "device"..once done, reset the phone and you should be able to see the update profile and prl icons in Start > Settings > System

I also attached the latest Google Maps cab. It doesn't have "turn by turn" directions but it does a pretty good job of giving you the directions and letting you know where you are at all times. install it to internal storage. when you first run it, go to Menu > options and hit "Use GPS". That will start looking for satellites and once it finds it, it will triangulate your position. Also, make sure you go to Start > GPS > QuickGPS and download the latest satellite info.

Yea that happened to me and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Plus they stopped development on GTX so i just gave up and flashed the new OMJ rom. GTX hasn't been fully functional for a while there was always hickups in the program and it just got unbearable so I quit it.

Thank you rwilli!! yeah I really like OMJ's Rom and i like the GTX as well. This was the first GTX from OMJ so i though i would try it out. I was using Fearless GTX Rom and it seem fine. just to let you know. I guess its back to looking for another stable rom. What are you using rwilli?

how did u install cookie 1.7 mod and editor?
when i install mod it gave me error...saying INSTALLATION UNSUCCESSFUL...DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT SYSTEM PERMISSIONS

try turning off Sense (All Settings -> Today ->Items ->Uncheck HTC Sense), installing the cab and then turning Sense back on.

Oh ok I've had my diamond for about a year and I've been on many different roms. I used Mighty,Intx, and recently OMJ now im using OMJ 23544 v1.2 along with cookie mod 1.7 and that has been really good to me. I might have to check out fearless later but I think I'm going to buy the EVO later this year because after jumping into the pool with my diamond the backlight isnt fully functional and I can barely see anything in the sunlight so in a few months I think ill be jumping ship to android.

ok, in an older build of omjs rom there was a setting for adjusting the max mms file size, but i can't find it on this and it wont let me send any pics at all hardly unless they're on the lowest setting because they're above 500k, but i can't find where to remove that limitation, thought it was in advanced config but didn't find it there...
