Anyone know where I can get a (inexpensive $1-$4 shipped) OEM quality screen protector for my diamond?

I checked dealextreme and then have some for less than $2 shipped, but they are for the GSM version with a hole for the front facing camera (and I'm too neurotic to handle having that extra hole, lol). Plus I've bought some screen protectors from them before for my old touch and they were crap - the surface scratched easily making it look horrible just after a few weeks.

Yeah, they are still there even after a soft reset.

I just bought a diamond and the prior owner included the OEM protectors for the GSM version (item id is ST P170).

As you mentioned the GSM screen protector has the front-facing camera hole but it's also a bit too tall for the screen. The width is just fine however. So what I did is to just cut the top part of the screen protector off. It's working well.

I've tried another screen protector made from the stuff used for clear-bras on cars... I was not a fan... my finger would catch on the protector which made it difficult to scroll. The OEM protectors are much better.

If you find a source of OEM protectors specifically for the sprint diamond, please post back.

Later Google maps versions fail to create the two items so myl stopped working. Before we did not have this problem because OMJ cooked in the GMM 3.2 which creates teh reg values. So for later versions we should always cook in the two reg keys to work around the problem.

PLEASE HELP. I have HTC Diamond with WM6.5 and I have Energy ROM. I wont change ROM and I instal Sense 2.5 2012 | 6.5 | 21887 | v1.1
(last updated 2/16/10). Instalation is ok full update and when finish is soft reset the phone and on screen is only write "TOUCH diamond" and noting happend. I wait more then half hour and noting. I do hard reset and everything is ok but when finsh stil on screen write "Touch diamond" and noting. Please am I mistake something and what I must do. Am I destry my phone.

OMJ, I just want to thank you for an awesome ROM. I recently upgraded to your latest version. One issue I have always had regardless of ROMs is laggy text messaging, this latest build doesnt lag at all. I really enjoy your ROM. Thank you for all your hardwork!

Dragang: I am new at changing ROMS, but I have read that just to be safe, in between custom ROMs's, you should go back to the original official ROM that is available for your phone and flash it to "stock". That is what I have been doing, and it has worked for me. In my case, I used the latest Sprint ROM that I downloaded from their site. I know there is a location on this site where you can get "stock" ROM's for different phone carriers. Try that and see if you can get your phone back to "new" condition first.

you need to re-do the flash.... and to do that now follow the instructions here to get into the bootloader.

Quick question, how do u make a shortcut for a program within the start menu. I have a bunch of programs within internal storage that i cant pin to the quick launcher because there is no shortcut for it. How do i make one?

Though rotation works fairly well automatically on many programs, I can't get the HTC calculator to rotate in order to access the scientific UI. So I installed the BsB g-config cab from makeveral on xda. I found calculator was already on the g-config whitelist. So I removed it and added it again, but calculator still won't rotate. I'd prefer automatic rotation rather than manual via the softkey. Anybody have any suggestions for making it work?
