1.) Did the clock thing ever get figured out? Everytime I go back to the home screen (from lets say the Start Menu), the clock flips twice to get to the right time. (for example, if the time is 2:35, it will first flip from 1:34 to 2:34 and then it will flip once more to 2:35). It gets annoying after a while.

2.) Any idea why the automatic weather update is not working? Sometimes manually hitting "Update Now" won't update the weather. Sometimes it works fine.

3.) Why does the email tab on the slider always show that I have 1 new email when all the messages are read? I've even cleared all the inbox/sent/deleted/drafts messages and started clean but the notification doesn't go away. I've attached a screenshot.

I appreciate your help!!
To answer you questions about the weather updating. You have to have an active data session for the weather to update. If you data is inactive the weather will not update for some reason. Not sure why but it will not open a new data session up. Trying checking the stocks first, which will open up a data session and then update the weather. It will work every time.

Aeropatel, do you have an airave at your house?? Mine doesn't update at my place because of that, and I find it has a hard time updating indoors sometimes, go outside and see if it works.

Orangekid: Install .Net 3.5 and it should work.

You can send and receive texts either through HTC Messaging or native WM. It has arcsoft built is so you will receive a text notifying you of new mms. The notification will show up in HTC Messaging (and native for that matter) but the pic will not. You can click on the msg in HTC Messaging and it will launch native WM where you can click on the pic icon and it will launch the normal ArcSoft client. This is all working the way it was designed to by Amarullz in his version 1.5 mod. Works great and gives you pretty much the option to use either HTC or native WM for pretty much everything except actually opening the pic in an mms which requires you to get to ArcSoft.

For some reason the "my location" itself does not have the ability to initiate a data session, but weather does. You can initiate one on your own like billyapd21 siad or...
So long as you have at least one city set in the weather tab it will initiate a data session when you hit "update now" or automatically if you have that option enabled. Here's what i do. I set two cities in the wx tab (Ft Worth and Atlanta b/c i live in FTW but work in ATL). Then I set My Location on the World Clock page (I also leave the wx tab on first position as well which is "my location") ... that way when i hit "update now" it will initiate a data session and download the weather for all three (my location, FTW, and ATL). So what ever city I'm actually in.. ie a suburb of FTW... will show on my home screen once updated and will also be in the first position of my wx tab.

Also there was a good article in the news section where somebody got a response in an interview from microsoft about the 6.5.X builds. I guess microsoft said it was experimenting making a build for phones with capacitive screens and how they are less accurate and how they needed bigger buttons. Below is the link if anyone is interested in reading it.

not really sure on the differences.

yeah, I read a similar article

Do you have a city in the weather (not just my location), I have seen that you ned to have at least 1 city selected to have the auto update working. Ofcourse in the weather setting you have it checked to auto update.
thanks guys..that fixed it.

side question: after a reset, any idea why the clock shows 0:00 first and then switches to the right time after 5-7 seconds?

No I just installed it as per your instructions. I never adjusted the font size. I was able to recieve texts after the install but my replies would not go out. They didnt go to drafts either they just were gone. I was able to restore the old settings by removing the cab and then softresetting. Also, after removing the update, the first time I sent a text all of the texts I had tried to send before immediately were sent. So my wife got about 10 texts at once, lol.
