When you update 28014 can you update 21887 also. me and my wife have been using this rom for awhile now. excellent rom.

I just tested, not seeing that error....I'm on 28014 too but a slightly newer version. I have it uploaded if u want to try it.

the arrows are broken from the dialer.....data is NOT running all the time.

sweet, for some reason I though we were stuck w/ the fat signal bars....I got my skinny bars back!!!

Just tested the Messenger Shortcut and it's working fine with OMJ's WM 6.5.3 v1.5 Sense 2.5 ROM. And from OMJ's latest post, it looks like it's working as intended on his just released v1.6 ROM as well.

On a related note, many thanks for all your hard work OMJ! V1.5 has been running great on my spare Diamond for the last week.

OMJ, this regedit does work, but it's not in the HKLM (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) section of the Registry you posted, it's under HKCU (HKEY_CURRENT_USER). (at least on my Diamonds)

Here's what worked for me:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction \CDMA\SignalStrengthLevel Set to 7
You can also set it to 5 if you only want 5 bars.
And then... do not forget to soft reset, lol...

Nevertheless, thank you OMJ for confirming that we can get our 7 skinny bars back, and again for all your great work. Also, thank you amikam for the RegistryEdits wiki link. Cheers!

Help Please. I installed the sense 2.1 28014 v1.3 a few days ago and ran the prl update program that was in it. Ever since doing that I havent been able to get any data connection. I keep getting error 67 saying my username or password may be incorrect. I have hard reset as well as flashed back to shipped ROM. Have also tried various username/password combos as well as just leaving it blank. Anyone else having this problem or have any insite into fixing this. Thanks

Another really noob question, but what program/util are yall using to edit the reg? Can't seem to find a decent one to download...

Have you notice SPRINT release a Hot-pacth for SMS incorrect year stamp???
EDIT: OMJ already patch this in his actual ROMs.

I guess we have to understand that you don't want donations, but at least HTC or any other company selling these phones have to give you (Free of cost) any HTC device you want to play with it and do your magic with it. It's the least you deserve,
and I'm sure people realize that there are "regular reviewers" on youtube and the internet they receive (even before they start selling mobile phones to the market) HTC devices for free .
So I'm pretty sure this is the most logical idea would be. Yes free access to all HTC devices you wish to play with and do your magic, reciprocity is the minimum I can think of. and if companies do not want to do it we the users should make a background for this must be.

I would flash back to stock....run the update profile, if data still does not work, call Sprint.....get your data working b4 flashing the custom rom.

Total Commander is included in all my ROMs....

after opening, choose the top option "\\Plugins", then registry

yes, I know about the sms cab fix but I have included the reg fix'd in the ROM.

Thanks for the kinds words, but I can't take all the credit, if it wasnt for the hard work of Amarullz & Kisja & many more, we would not have this Sense 2.5 VGA port.....building the ROM to share w/ everyone is the easy part (in my mind anyways), it does take some finesse & and is time consuming to get it right, but really we are all in debt of those ppl that provide us the tools to created these awesome ROMs.

now Iam not seeing the white box's....I had a couple favs' that did not have pix, just the default avatars....I added pix to both, and now the white box's are gone.....not sure if this is what fixed it, but nonetheless, they are gone.

i have white boxes where there are not friends. and where i have friends the bottom right corner has a small white box.. i think usually the Facebook icon goes there...


just noticed the new rom for the 28 series is there a 21s coming?

Got odd situation...used your kitchen for Titanium 28014 ROM, selected white call log but somehow ended up with black call log (can't see call details as text is black also). Ideas on any way to make white without starting over? Otherwise everything good =D>

Odd GPS issue:

Sense 2.5 | 6.5 | 21887 | v1.3
Flash
Open google maps. tick use gps.
gets gps lock in 5 seconds.

Sense 2.5 | 6.5.3 | 28014 | v1.6
Flash
Open google maps. tick gps.
does not get gps lock.

Reflash back to 21887 and GPS is working again immediately.

No idea why?

bottom right corner is the phone icon, bottom left is facebook icon

2 noob questions. When upgrading from omj to omj, do i still need to reflash to shipped? AND, do i need to hard reset after flashing to shipped? I've been doing so for peace of mind, but is it necessary when going from 1.4 to 1.5? or 1.5 to 1.6?

Many thanks OMJ for the continued updates. The last version Opera was freezing and Text msgs were freezing.

The "bubbly buttons" are part of WM6.5.3. If you dont want them, you have to install one with WM6.5 or lower.

I do the latest stock reflash, a ##786# and when it reboots I get it to connect to get username & password then I flash ROM and manually provision the phone.

Is there a Touch Pro version of this ROM? I like these on my Diamond & regular Touch...

So I flashed back to the 28014 2.5 ROM and all is good now. I think it was just some transient condition. Thanks again OMJ for the superb rom.

Does anyone else experience some finnikey behaviour from the task switcher (when you press on the small clock in the top right)? My task switcher will often fail to open, it will show an outline and then disappear. Other times it will open without issue.

Has anyone had luck in getting the Microsfot Tellme app to work ?

I installed the ripped version form the Samsung intrepid but it doesn't seem to recognize anything I say. If someone has a link to a known working version, please post it. Thank you.

Tried installing this, but gives me an error when I run it from the computer.

If I remember correctly, OMJ explained this behavior many pages back. It's due to no other programs running at the time you try to open the task switcher. To clarify, if you having an additional application open, the task switcher stays open and works as intended (at least here with 28014 v1.5 Sense 2.5).

Anyone have experience with TMC broadcasts and igo8? I wonder if it's possible to get it to work on our diamonds.
