correctamundo, not only is it the latest sys, but the rom he just posted has the leo 2.02 updates with some other fixes.

installed 28205.. active sync is fixed for me now. So far its great... one issue. You tube is not working. it loads but finds nothing. tried a second version of youtube still no luck..

Is there something i need to configer? Is there a recomended stand alone CAB for youtube?

No matter what 6.5 ROM I use on my Sprint Diamond I no longer have contact picture show when I receive a call. I've flashed back to Sprint Shipped before flashing a new ROM, tried using just the WM dialer-phonepad, took out all contact pictures and then reloaded them fresh...no difference. Ideas anyone on what is happening?

I'm on Sprint and have not had this problem on any of OMJ's Roms. I've tried his 6.5, 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 roms. I am currently running 28014 v1.2 without this problem.

I plan on flashing his new rom tongiht and will report back. So for it only seems like Youtube isn't working but I will verify and post back. It's not a big deal since I rarely use it anyway.

I get the YouTube problem too... Its not that its not finding anything. Its just not showing it.

When I first saw it, I had the same conclusion, but I tapped on the blank screen and it started playing the video. So I tapped on 3 different locations on the blank screen and 3 different videos played.

But, I have no idea what the problem is.

OMJ,

Can you tell me if you removed any NetCf packages or fonts from your latest ROMs. I have a program that I use to connect to work and it works with everyone else's ROMs but yours since 28011. I just flashed 28205 and it's fast and clean, but my company program still has issues.

Basically the program works, but the text comes up as colored blocks. Does that help? Any ideas?
I believe it runs on NetCF 3.5 but I won't get confirmation until tomorrow.

then its the way you have the pic saved with the contact. Try taking off the pic from the contact, then readd the pic to the contact and have them call you. I use PIMbackup and it works fine with mine because I never change where I keep the pics on my internal storage.

Its not your build or your ROM, I think its the contact info not recognizing where the pic is.

I got another bug (or maybe its just me) with 28205..

Every time I tap the time to bring up the task manager, the notification menu pops up on top and covers the screen. The task manager still comes up but the notifications menu comes up right afterwards so I can't access the task manager.

Anyone else run into this?

Tried that already...no luck :cry: Agree it seems somethings dorked up with pics associated with contacts. Anywhere you can suggest I look in registry or am I missing a simple setting somewhere that "show picture...."

fyi....something funky on 28205....i'm having the same no contacts pic or # on incoming calls. hard reset did not fix. notification menu also acting weird...noticing other qwirks too

thinking about going back to an older build.

The pictures make it easy for me to know who's calling without putting on glasses so feature is important to me...one of reasons I've tried many ROMs lately to see if I could find a fix. Starting to wonder though if its not something else. Kinda wonder like Orangekid said its some kind of problem in the contact manager itself??

Had the problem with your 6.5 Titanium only 21887, Calk 6.5.3 23506, Calk 6.5 w/SPB...I tried your Sense 2.5 I believe 28002 but don't remember if that one also had problem or not. I've gone back to Sprint shipped then flashed, did hard resets, etc....still having the issue.

28011 all day, thats been my most stable so far... i miss it :(
i miss 6.5 more though, 21882. looking forward to being back from vacation myself and having you back too! it's been a tough week not being able to flash my phone on the road...

Have you tried clearing out the youtube directory on your Internal Storage? Youtube can be pretty finicky about that.

28011 for me personally. Least battery hungry and most stable.
However, would love to integrate the contacts fix into it somehow.
Is there a cab?

What happened to the PIMbackup program in 28014 6.5.3? Just migrated from 28002 6.5.3, and can't find it to restore all my contacts, texts, messages, ect...?

Been playing around with 28014. Definitely do not like it's data performance. Opera's soooooooo slow it takes near to 5 minutes to load ppcgeeks, facebook contact linking won't connect or work, myphone won't connect, email refuses to connect and gives a no modem error or something. Tried a hard reset and a new flash and different sprint radio, same thing. Going back to 28002 for now :-/

ok, here is 28014 v1.3....seems to be working well....

-contact pix on incoming calls working
-reverted back to previous notification enhancement
-re-added PIMbackup
-added the landscape camera fix
-no # wheel smearing
-add/editing of contacts working

is something wrong with the link? found me a wifi spot and was gonna download the upgrade but it just keeps spinning and not downloading, unless the server is bogged down with everyone trying to get it? I checked a different download and got it fine from somewhere else

strange, firefox nor my phone using explorer would download but google chrome (which I don't use) would download it... strange... now can install and test

I am running 28014 also. How are you folks getting your weather radar just visiting accuweather via opera or is there a weather radar app or other alternative? It would be awesome to somehow have an audible notification for weather warnings etc.

if you use sense/manila there are many programs you can use that have an inbuilt radar, just do a search.


if you use titanium, showaco titanium weather panel has a radar and there is another even better radar program that can be build into showaco titanium weather if you want it.
