Yup. I'm having the same problem. Also, I can only change wallpaper once from the settings tab. If I try to change it again photo album does not open. I switched album from 3.2 because of bug to 3.0 using kitchen.

Is there a way to put an installed program that shows up on the start menu into a folder that has already been made? Like if I was to put a gps program, instead of it being on the start menu, it would be in the GPS folder along with Google maps(which sucks...)

once you install the program you want, use file explorer to navigate to the "Windows" folder and find the "Start Menu" folder. in that folder, click "Programs" and you will see a shortcut for the program you just installed. tap and hold on that icon and select cut. now in the same directory, find the folder where you want to copy the shortcut, "GPS" in your case and open the folder. tap and hold in an empty space and select paste. that should do it.

ARC is only for MMS, w/o it u would need picturemail or similar to send/rec MMS

Nice ROM - Almost everything working great. Minor issue with My Location, but I'm with Telus and can't get an accurate fix on ANY ROM.

Question about Opera 10 beta 2u. The Opera changelog indicates this should operate in landscape mode. Somehow cannot get it to rotate. Anybody else have this problem?

Seems like others are reporting a glitch in the HTC message client (SMS) that amounts to the send button being greyed out/unusable when replying to a text message or in some cases getting greyed out after sending a few messages. Anyone else seeing this or know a fix?

Before I had reflashed, the whole convo that was being displayed on the screen was blackened and I was only able to see what I had said

I think other from CA are having the same issue.....honestly, I havent played much w/ opera, so I'm not sure

I dont do a great deal of texting but I have not seen this issue

Did you select the option "dim when locked" or something like that? If so uncheck it because it does not revert back after you unlock.

no, the waking issue I was having was it would not wake up......I recooked/reflashed, and have not seen the issue again.

thats why I turned it off by default

Im having a problem; i tried the latest 6.5.3 andthe 6.5, and when i disable the htc dialer (uses too much ram) to use the regular wm dialer...i can't use the keypad to type part of the name of the contact, and have it appear onthe display so i can dial. and ideas ?

I think dareeseboy figured out how to get it with 2.1, he had it in his old 21876 sense ROM, he seems to be the only one who has it incorporated in 2.1 where u can change from full to compact to phone without a sipchange cab

I thought the 28014 rom was supposed to have Call History on the Home page. I downloaded and installed it but it still has Calender. Can anyone tell me which rom has the Call History on home page?

is anyone else having an issue with manila locker not locking the hard keys? If I press the send key when the phone is locked, it brings up the dialer and I can also make a call. is it a bug or a bad flash?

That would be a very nice addition.

Looking more into it HTC people list thing produces updates the info into a "<unnamed>" account, but it doesn't have any of the info updated.

I looked around for a while for a solution to my problem (not being able to see the contacts or phone history on the WM dialer) and i found this thread:

the guy states that it has something to do with a "Topaz phone canvas" .... anyone kknow what that is or how I can disable it? or any other solution to get rid of the HTC dialer becuase it takes up too much ram.

OMJ does, I believe, use a variation of the Topaz phone canvas, referred to as a Rhodium canvas, in his kitchen. Someone more knowledgeable than myself will have to say whether or not it can be disabled for sure, but I don't think so since it is cooked into the rom.

You can't update your contacts unless you go to Start>System>Contacts
Once that is done, it will show in the sense Contacts. So just update from there WM Contacts and use it from the Sense contacts

I have a problem with zooming in on pictures stored on my phone that I took off my camera. It zooms in and gets distorted and when its not zoomed in, the aspect ratio isnt set right. The whole picture doesnt show and it doesnt us up the whole screen, anyone else?

This ROM works very good and I have just 1 Problem. Whenever I add an email account it will not save my username all the way. my username is my email address. It saves the first part of it. For example if I type in the full email address all that gets saved is the first part before the @ symbol. and my email will not work.

I have been using the Sense 2.1, build 28014 with no issues or bugs of any type for a few days now. I am VERY satisfied, and have been able to install several additional programs without causing lockups or errors.

I can't thank you enough for continuing to support the Diamond, from my perspective still the best phone available (everything similar is much too big...).

I mostly use my phone to send texts and when I am sending a lot of texts using the sense UI i get a black bar that will slowly travel from the bottom of the text input screen up to the top making it impossible to read messages from that screen

Does anyone know how to get the default wallpaper back after changing it to a animated backgound? I tried to delete the reg path but it's not there? any other suggestions? Anyone have a copy of the wallpaper they can post so I can just choose it from the album?

go to the settings tab/personalize/change background/select photo background. Then it should ask if you want to use the default background...or something like this. I'm not on my diamond but this worked for me yesterday

I have never heard of that issue before. Did you flash to stock and then hard reset after flashing the custom ROM? That seems to fix a lot of the weird issues that arise sometimes.
