Same problem here, phone won't vibrate or ring and always reverts back to the default ring tone after a call comes in.

Whats the module count on this ROM? I get this issue sometimes when I don't recmod enough files. You should not have to convert them to wav files.

For some reason, my texts weren't working at first, then suddenly all 5 that I sent over the course of maybe 12 hours or so got sent at the exact same time (including 2 that I had just sent). I'm just getting into the more technical aspect of things, so I have no idea if this helps or how to diagnose/fix it - but I'll keep reading up.

Is there a fix for the in call screen, so that the bottom buttons are visible and you don't have a scroll bar?

I saw a theory a few threads back that making changes to this ROM through Reg Edit don't stick after a soft reset. I haven't checked this out to confirm, but that wouldn't make too much sense....HOWEVER, I haven't noticed the prompt asking if the edit is ok to save since using this ROM, sooo....

Sorry the SMS not sending and the phone ringtone bugs are showstoppers OMJ otherwise I would use this ROM. But hopefully once it gets nailed and is less quirky I will be able to use it.

Possibly found a fix for SMS and MMS in the HTC messaging app. Check out post #9 here. I have not confirmed it yet.

Fix may not work w/ the latest versions of this ROM, since Arcsoft is cooked in....you'll have to edit the ROM before flash.

I have now successfully sent and received MMS from the HTC app. Make sure you follow directions in the post. I will attach a cab to remove arcsoft.

I can't find any info on the SetSysTimeZone error, seen people mentioning it but no one with a solution. I keep getting it when I turn on my phone for hours, it prevents me from answering calls seemingly locking up the screen and often times unless I unlock it and clear the stacked up message windows I miss calls.

Any help available?

People when you references bugs, fixes, other problems or even things that work properly PLEASE REFERENCE WHAT VERSION AND SYSTEM YOU ARE USING. It is very confusing to determine what system/version has what problem and which ones don't. Thank you.

Cool, I'll check this out later tonight :) ... if there is no ArcSoft client, what prog opens the pic when you receive it? Album? Do you have screen shots of how the msg delivers to htc messaging?

I turned off "Get time from the internet" setting in the Data Services settings and I haven't seen that error sense.

Has anyone found a cause for when the screen goes blank besides the top bar and only comes back on when you press the <- button but then the start menu or opening any emails won't work?

CRAP, I may have to amend my previous post about sms working, etc.

Initially the 6.5 ROM worked pretty well out of the box with the exception of youtube (sms worked, rings worked, etc...)

Now is quite a different story
- i can receive sms, but not send
- rings are muted and reset back to default ring tone (even though i cant hear it).

Still this is a pretty zippy rom. Hopefully future fixes wont make it laggy, etc.

Okay here we go with my updated bugs list again...I'm on the 21870 sys.

-Calculator doesn't work
-Long press end key icon missing
-Show address on map in contacts doesn't work
-ALL ringtones don't work, even built in defaults, phone doesn't even vibrate
-Can't send SMS
-Sunny animation still slow
-Clock tumbler under add appointment messed up
-Location weather and facebook don't auto update
-Location in settings tab doesn't work (OMJ said he had fixed this for future releases)

did you flash to stock rom first? My location works fine if you open google first and check use gps. then use the manilla location while its in the background

I'll give it a shot, but I'm not using custom ring tones

1- I'm using only built in ring tones
2- It won't even vibrate
3- Whatever I set the ring tone to, it gets reset to the default one when a call comes in.

If I don't find a fix soon I'll probably flash back to 1.2 (otherwise I am really digging this ROM).

Same for me, I get an error when I click it ("The file 'MobileCalculator' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found")

I am on 21870 v1.3 and just tried the calculator now and it works fine, as does SMS through pOutlook. Rings and vibe is fine, but I have not tried auto-update FB or weather.


EDIT: Forgot to mention YouTube is broken even after apply the fix both by cab and manually, no big deal though.

I'm on 23504 v1.4.

Calculator and SMS work fine. MMS works via Titanium. FM Radio is good, as is Clean Ram, Clear Temp, and YouTube. Have installed SensorScroll and it is working well.

Show address on Map in Contacts does not work.

Since I seem to have a very good/lucky install, LMK if anyone wants me to try to see if something is working on my phone.

If I was in your situation, I'd definitely give the hard reset a try. I also do a clear storage after every flash (shipped and OMJ for e.g.,) to really ensure I'm getting a clean install as possible.

lol, yeah, I flashed several times today & sms didnt not work on any of them.....frustrating....I just flashed alittle bit ago, basically a 1.2 version, sms was ok, but this is back on build 1920. Still trying to figure out why 1921 giving trouble.

I had the sms issues but i flashed to shipped and flashed 1.4 again and my friends confirmed sms is working. May be try a hard reset also.
My weather updated automatically every hour. I havent really checked facebook. Seems like the animation is slower and kinda bogs the other functions like menu. Location works if im outside or in the car. If im at work i noticed my location changes from my city to the state. i think its coz its not getting signal from inside the building.

Thats what I was facing. But its irregular. Sometimes the texts would go through and sometimes they would just sit in the outbox. For me however a soft rest has worked both times that I had this problem.
