I'm liking hits alot too, got the 6.5.1 rom with everything I use working great! Only graphical error I see with it is the landscape in the picutres and music tab, I get a big grey bar at the bottom. Wasnt getting that with the 6.5 ROM. everything else seems to be running pretty snappy!

Whoa, 6.5.1 is sweeeeet. SMS working fine with Sprint service and 1.03.09v verison radio... Will try mms in a few. Same bug with footprints (dunno what it even is lmao, but I get that failed to initiate camera error).

Edit: Tried sending a couple MMS messages inside htc sms but no bueno. It tries, but ends up failing.

fantastic rom!! i love it.. im running 6.5.1 v1.2 (telus diamond)all day and its been fantastic, lots of bugs fixed etc. its also works great with opera 9.7b...
location data is sometimes spot on and sometimes it just generalizes my location down to my Provence. its probably a google thing not a rom thing just pointing it out.. SMS works great same with hotmail and other email... LOVE LOVE LOVE this rom.. its like having a whole new phone (light years ahead of anything telus can offer me)=D>

I really dont use MMS, so I dont know much about it. I've sent a few pix via picturemail in the past. so is MMS working for the Sprint people vis HTC messaging?

-new ported home screen
-new ported messaging screen
-new ported Photos screen
-new ported settings screen
-new ported people screen
-usb to pc popup fixed
-background4all tabs removed due to imcompatibility

it's in there, main start menu/psShutXP

that was one of the reasons I stopped using the custom icons I had. I was having issues on 6.5.1.

I'm having problems connecting to wifi, I don't have a data connection and use my home wireless to do a few things, mainly update the gps, the past few updates (I have tried all the flavors of your roms) I haven't been able to connect to my home network, it tries and comes back and says unable to connect, never had a problem before, am I missing something in the 651 rom?

also, is there some way to fix the clock? when I goto the home screen, the clock initially shows the time that the phone was turned on, and then flips to the correct time, sometimes takes a second or two to actually see the correct time

OMJ, I still had to install .net cf 3.5 into 6.5.1 to make a few things work properly. Kinda wierd but everything works great!

I tried just installing the arcsoft cab without installing the Zenyee cab but it was a no go. Right now I am using the default windows messaging app and i can send/revieve mms and sms with no problem.

All I did was install the Zenyee Cab, then soft reset, then installed arcsoft and soft reset and all works great :-)

Hey I wanted to say thanks for the great ROM. It works near perfectly for me, but I have a problem and was wondering if anyone could help me.

When I open the start menu and move it, the images start to 'overlap' each other. Like the Today icon duplicates itself as it moves instead of showing the background. I have a screen shot but I will not be able to post it until this evening. If anyone understands what I'm talking about is there any idea of how to fix this? Or where to start looking?

the sunny animation slow down, maybe you can shortening the time of effect or bightness. i really do like it animation.

Can you explain that again? First you say you didn't install the Zenyee cab and it worked, but the second paragraph said you installed in and it worked. I am just curious if you got it to work without the cab, didn't work for me.

Hey OMJ. Your new rom is PERFECT. Really does make my diamond feel like a totally new phone. For some reason Manilla 2.5 makes the screen look so much richer. Do you think you could add Bubble Breaker to one of your future builds? I really miss that when using your rom. Thanks for all your hard work.

Sorry for the confusion. So this is what I did to get it to work:

I installed Zenyee's CAB and did a soft reset
I then installed the Arcsoft CAB and did a soft reset.

After that I got sms/mms working through the default windows messaging app.

Yeah I haven't been able to send them successfully either, but I can "see" recieved ones, but just gives a "Unable to download from XXXXXXXXX" error when you try to download the message. Haven't tried the arcsoft workaround cause the htc messaging is just so nice and pretty.

Just in case somebody wanted the phone to vibrate when a call was established, enable it under settings/personal/phone/advanced, and use this registry fix i found over at xda:

So far so good OMJ except the people tab doesn't quite work with the WM SMS interface. Maybe without the contact app? IDK. But I'm not gonna gripe as I just disabled the people tab for now anyway.

Hey OMJ, just tried a reflash with the updated 23504. The manila won't launch. I tried to do a hard reset the easy way (clear storage) but can't find the program listed anywhere! I will reset the hard way unless someopne can tell me where the clear storage program is. Let me know if others are having a problem launching the manila with this flash. Thanks!

I flash 23504 whit no problem, the clear storage is on settings tab (manila), security option, and factory reset

but i think you can open manilla :oops: upss sorry, no good info
