on the 21870. weather home page. there is a very slow down when the weather is sunny. but when the weather is cloudy effect no slow down.

i vote 6.5, 6.5.1 is unusable to me, just too much doesnt work or works weird or so on. there's not much at all i like about 6.5.1 over 6.5

How do you map an application to the start button (hold) in 6.5.1? NRG has a showcase mapped to it in his ROM.

I say 6.5.1! Starting to get used to it. I know I've asked this before but for all you 6.5.1 users, what are you using to bring up all of your programs? They need something in 6.5.1 to do this.

Landscape pictures and music tabs don't work right with 6.5.1 right now though (bottom bar doesn't disappear) . Something to do with the position fix for manila.

As for 6.5.1 task manager, You can use Enatives showcase Suite by amarullz.. Although there are still some kinks to work out. (freezes sometimes when a process hangs and it tries to read it)

the rom 21870 runs pretty smooth, i was listening to music ands viewing pic and scrolling back and forth. runs very smooth , and very impressive.

I was having trouble syncing contacts, calendar, basically the whole phone. I gave up and formatted back to xp. my PC is older anyways and was faster with xp. plus, activesync works!

OMJ,

I tried your rom for the first time today and it was very nice and new looking. I did a quick flash this morning to try it and I couldn't send a text...I tried the htc disabler but still didn't work.

Do you have a cab for the older version 1.6 of youtube? For some reason I can never get version 2.6 working on cricket service.

OMJ - could you cook in the same taskbar icons as in NRG's roms? they are much more sleek and professional than the oem ones.

search tsowen 6.5 taskbar for virtually the same tbar. you can cab install it easily. Also Gadgetfreak's tbar is great. edit, here it is: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...67&postcount=3

This ROM is awesome! Very snappy and doesn't lock up on me. MMS was an issue but I worked around that. I installed Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB then I soft reset, then I installed Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79.cab.

After doing that I can send/receive mms and sms. The problem is that now in order to access the messaging app, I need to select "all messages" (aka I cannot just click the message itself).

One more thing, Footprints gives me "Unable to initialize camera.Failed to set up the camera device." when i try and add a footprint.

Other than that it works great :-)

Footprints is dependent on Leo hardware (the camera) and will not work on the Diamond at present time. I think you can try uninstalling the Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB and arcsoft will still work (maybe it was posted a few pages back).

Here's what I use. Just tap it and it resets. no warning screen or anything. Just rename from.cab to .exe. Can't upload as a .exe file so I had to change the extension. Best reset app ever, I think

There is a soft reset afterall, just didn't notice before. It's "psShutXP" in settings.

Ran into a glitch. I set the phone lock feature to lock at 5 mins. After entering the pin to get back in, the screen is blank with only the top icons showing. I'm trying to disable the phone lock but it is not clickable.

So is manilla SMS and MMS working with Sprint, or are you having to use a workaround? Cause MMS is a must have, send and receive pics to the office all day long. Heck, I'm using stock sprint rom and was waiting on pins and needles for nrg to release the new one, but found this just now and debating whether to give it a whirl...

And what's this footprints deal, does it impact taking pictures (cause like I said, gotta have a rom with camera and sms/mms working) or...?

I've experienced this as well, using the 6.5.1 ROM. I've been able to click the Back hard button to bring up Sense, but thereafter the Start button doesn't work until I soft reset.

I have been using gadgetfreak's bearbonz round taskbar with 6.5.1. It seems to play nicely.

yep it works fine. However, how do you remove the clock in the taskbar? I can't find the setting...

EDIT: and I can send and recieve texts. The issue I had before where the black screen would only show the contact number and not their name is also fixed.

I've been using this ROM with JQuills customizations and really like it. My battery life has also gone up. Instead of the battery being dead at noon (I take it off the cradle at 8am) it is almost dead by 6 or 7.

I'm currently running the latest build for the last few days now. I'll be running this ROM for a while.

I really have one question. Not sure if someone mentioned this. How do I consolidate things in the start menu? How do I get rid of some of the duplicates also?
