Just tried to play an 80 minute MP3 for a spinning class and the player died about 25 minutes in. No volume... had to reset completely. Music Player has been very flaky on this release. Anyone else exhibiting problems.... solutions....

Id try a hard reset cause its working for me. Sometimes after a soft reset, it does the same thing but only on the 1st call, then it returns to normal.

I'll try to rephrase to this since I wasn't able to get the EPST settings working.

I was doing some research and it looks like most of the time the problem is the HTC_GUARDIAN.EXE that's running in the background, restoring the EPST settings when saved. I did look for the file but it can't find it anywhere in the filesystem, does this rom (OMJ 2.5) includes this file? Or any other app that prevents the EPST settings from being saved when edited? Or is it just an error in the settings editor included in this rom that's not working?

I'm having the same issue with Internet Explorer and I think it's also preventing me from using other apps that need to connect to the internet. Opera works fine, but apps like facebook and netflix mobile just sit there on the opening screen when attempting to connect. Any ideas? Thanks.

I dont believe htc_guardian is in the rom, but i'll check

if u have opera installed make sure it's set as the default browser

It is set as the default browser, and even after a reset I'm experiencing the same issue.

Go back to shipped, make your changes, then flash OMJs ROM back.

I went through my SYS's & it seems like METADATA has been missing in the last few WM6.5.5 builds, if you want I can add METADATA in 23569 so see if it corrects your problem.

Could you update to the latest Cookie Home Tab v1.8 as long as you're updating that Rom?

Specifically the one without the Kimi messaging.

PS. Love your Rom sorry to see you go to EVO, but nice your still hanging around to take care of us lol.

**Edit** Apparently a v1.8.1 update is coming in a day or two to fix a few known issues for the cookie mod.

just go to start-setings -conections-manage existing conection-edit-and type Sprint in the name of the conection field.And push next-next-finish.Thats it.I believe you need to do it with evry generic custom room out here...

I don't think you answered his question. What he needs to do is to hit cancel, and continue his IE. It works, just have a irrelevant warning. Simply ignore the warning.

With nothing else running, after a soft reset I keep getting these error messages that Storage Memory is low and I need to close some running programs.
Anyone else seeing this? Using the 23569 Sense 2.5 ROM. (Until I get mine running the way I want it. 8-[)

You are using the original OMJ ROM? did you change anything? His rom seems small and less memory problem to me. But I do lately use the tools to delete the myphone and several other things.

Found the issue.
On my ROMs, I've altered the SASHIMI file so that I can properly install apps to Internal Memory. Apparently OMJ's doesn't have this, so when everything was done, all the apps installed to to Main Memory. Left me with 5-10KB of Storage memory. Once I started to sync, I immediately got errors. Same thing with receiving email or updating anything.

I just reflashed and manually made sure that SASHIMI installed everything correctly. Took a little extra time, but it's working great now.

I thought the code for that was on the internal storage, not the rom....I never had an issue installing apps to IS via SASHIMI

It only happens on 6.5.x and is caused by a line in the .mscr that is stored on your internal storage (so it's not a ROM issue per se, other than 6.5.x vs 6.1/6.5). You can find the line to change at the sashimi forums or probably by searching here.

I didn't even think of that. My previous ROMs were all 6.5s and I had edited the mscr for them. That makes a lot of sense (pardon the pun).

I don't know if it has already been ported to vga or not but, OMJ, could you make a ROM using the new Manila 2013 and 2014 packages. I know that 2015 and 2016 are out but I don't think they have been ported to vga yet.

Co0kie's Home Tab update (v1.8.5) should be posted tomorrow morning. Co0kie is saying all bugs from 1.8.0 will be fixed in this next release. I'll post a link when its up on his thread at XDA.

OMJ, would be nice to have v1.8.5 cooked into your latest Rom with 23569.

OMJ, I really like your ROM, I'm chinese user, here is a big question for me

So far As I know, not all the English ROM support can support Chinese PinYin Seek in dial panel or contacts

As my understanding, to get this support we need to

1. replace the wince.nls which contain Chinese region.

2. edit tapres.dll.0409.mui and outres.dll.0409.mui

the first step can easy make a cab to do it, but the second one is locked the ROM, cannot replace after the ROM finished need digital signed

I’m not a ROM make, so I really don’t know how to edit the two 0409 files

But I can say, I have test almost all the English ROM, currently only Leo(L26) and Dutty’s ROM can support my request

I hope OMJ ROM can see this and can make your ROM internationalization:)

Hi OMJ, as I said to Cookie re: His version 1.8.5 & your latest ROM are absolutely frigging brillant, I think the only thing missing for me right now is the ability to add different settings to the quick link (i.e. Home and Remove programs) this is the only reason I have launchpad installed.

My home and lock screens are perfect now that u have the scrolling apts. and original taskbar showing, very fast on my diamond, may between you and OMJ looks like I will be using my HTC Diamond for awhile to come.

You both deserve my beer money (and have it now), you can walk away from us knowing that My/Our HTC Diamonds are they way MS should have made it from the beginning.

U Both do us proud.
