Really like this rom but text messaging is driving me nuts. Are people just using an alternate client?
It seems to hang and freeze and bleed mem constantly, and I actually haven't been able to send an sms at all... TIA for any help! |

OMJ, wmdunn, or rstoyguy if you are around...
I don't have the first clue how to use this visual kitchen!! I can tell that there seems to be 3 diff sys' in it.. 6.1, 6.5, and "6.5.1" ... What i can't tell is how to add/remove packages/oems from it? I right clicked and deleted some packages and noticed the kitchen moved them to Packages_Deleted but don't see a way to just make them "false" rather than "true" ... also don't know how to add packages/oems?? Other questions... Do i have to put anything in Device Id, chunk, or OS id? Do I need to change the ROM ver. when i build a new rom? So much to learn about this kitchen after I got pretty good at modding and changing sys' in the ppck I have searched for a good basic tutorial on how to use this kitchen with no luck... any help would be really appreciated!! I'm downloading your new Sense UI 1920 one right now and about to flash it though ... but you know me, i still want to be able to make my own too! Thanks |

loaded your 2.4 version and like the look and feel. Unfortunately, I've had to pull the battery at least once a day for the last 2 days and I can't live with that. Not really sure what made it freeze, but when it worked, it worked well. Fast, good battery usage, nice combination of programs, although not wild about your game selections, thanx for the rom, but just burned calk's mobile shell version I downloaded to try and never did and it's lookin pretty sweet! I'll check back, after all, I used your 2.4, not your 2.5, so maybe I missed a fix I needed, but that's the fun of trying to hit a moving target!
Thanx for the rom, I'll be back!

ok, I"m starting to get a little confused, and I know I'll be told to do some searching, but could someone give the basic differences between:
1. manila 2. titanium 3. sense trying to figure out which to install, I don't have a data plan so I mainly use for phone, sms msgs and games I also am limited to what I can download (have huges net) and limited to 200meg/day (it sucks) thanks in advance |

Manila is the UI provided by HTC, while Titanium is the UI provided by Microsoft. Manila, at its simplest, has the scroll bar on the bottom and you scroll horizontally, with the main screen updated based on your scroll bar selection. Titanium scrolls vertically on the whole screen. The selected item is enlarged over the non-selected items. Sense is the latest version of Manila, aka Manila 2.5, with more finger friendly picking. Finally, you might see some references to Rhodium in the ROMs. Rhodium was the codename for HTC's Touch Pro 2. It then had some variations/improvements on the general Manila theme.
