Just use those then. The manila messaging system is such a mess and doesn't even tell you if you've run out of characters. Personally, I only use it if it is a dire emergency and I am in a hurry as such that I could not wait three seconds for the regular messenger to load.

You can do whatever you want though. Manila is always going to be slower, especially if you treat your SMS like IMs (which they are not).

Just a thought, IMO.

OK, nice ROM, but I can't activate my phone. In Phone Dialer mode I input ##105332#, which brings up the Activaton Wizard; I input my number (over the existing number of previous owner by Edit), enter the MSID and "yes" to save. Reboots but old number is there and phone is not activated.

Whenever I activate, I just reboot. I decided against all that complicated stuff. After you've rebooted and verified that it is working try pressing "update profile". This'll get your data all sorted out and working after it automatically restarts your diamond.

Thanks, I will try this, BUT, I forgot to say, my phone reboots, that is, shuts off; so it doesn't really reboot itself, it just shuts off and I have to turn it back on.

And when I turn it back on, it is not activated; the old number is still recorded and the phone does not work: that is, will not call any number. I get Bell tel every time I try.

I flashed to the v3 6.5 21895 on cricket. i cannot get it to activate. and i keep getting a phone number of (000)-000-8342. i went to the cricket store and they told me that they whould have to flash it again. i dont want to pay for that. its the reason that i am here. has anyone else had this problem. also the links are not working anymore. even the sharecash ones are giving me an error.
