Right now I'm going just Sprint. I may get to doing versions for Alltel, etc. depending on how this goes.

FYI guys, I've tried to get the drag and drop start menu to work with out any success so far. I will say that so far though 21859 is pretty solid so far.

So what makes this ROM Sprint specific?
Can Alltel people not flash it and just run their carrier cab?

Pretty much there is a huge amount of customizations that run, so if yo don't run them, you are going to miss out on a lot of the experience. If you want to give it a try and let me know how it goes, I would appreciate it.

If I'm feeling up to it tonight, I'll get Alltel set up first and posted. Just be aware that I do have the flu, so it may take me until tomorrow.

everything looks really good man, cant wait till the Alltel version comes out.
I kinda miss carrier specific ROMs, I remember back when I first got my Vogue most chefs cooked individual carrier ROMs instead of generic ROMs. So you knew all the settings were the way they should be after a flash.

Great ROM Gadget. I am really liking this new Manila. Too bad my company is thinking about switching to Verizon and making us all use Blackberrys. I think I might just buy this phone from them and start my own service.

Very, very impressed with this rom. No freezes, decent memory, and smooth. Went ahead and added the DiamondTweaks cab to add the final touches, and this is becoming one of the best 6.5 roms I've flashed so far. Good work sir!

Hey Gadget. so far so good on the latest. I installed beejive for IM since you mentioned that windows live added but not window im. Beejive is cool since you can login into multiple IMs but the layout is a bit of a learning curve. Anyway, if anyone wants a good im solution for free, go to beejive.

man. my man Yearn was right, this Beejive sucks the battery alot more than wm im... down 10% in under 20 minutes iming...ouch.

It's actually a little program called showcase. It's an HTC task manager replacement. The lattest version is customized just to work with the newest WM sys', but the old version works pretty good, unless you try to close something kinoma play.

yep, if showcase doesnt open, you just need to go to Start>Settings>System>task manager and close whatever is open, then it will work again. minor thing. Gadget, if you dont include fdcsoft taskmanager, than you can close apps using the task manager in programs. at least I could using calc kitchen. hope this helps.

yeah, it might make sense to use the full windows live/im solution but its totally up to you. I cool either way :)

FDCsoft Task manager is included for this very reason. Hopefully the creater of showcase will go back and address this with his non wm 6.5.1 version.

And I'll add WML IM back in on the next version

Is there a way to remove SecondToday? I messed with the settings, and now the program doesn't work right....I'd like to fix it without a hard reset if possible...

use diamond tweak, cab posted a page or two back, change the left soft key to another program. done. hope this helps.

Hey Gadget, great work! Iv found almost no problems with this whatsoever.
The only real issue iv found is youtube dosent work. I dont even see it in the program list?
Thats really the only problem iv came across personally. Theres a few preferences I would change, like I like a neater start menu with a folder for all the different types of apps, but I can do all that with reSTART and add in some nice looking folders to go along with the beautiful theme you created.

Unfortunately not. It is automatically loading ST, and whatever setting i F'd up leaves a blank background. I have to open the program to get it to open TF3D, and I can't access ST settings anymore.....

go to Start>Settings>System>task manager. close 2nd today.exe. then you can change it.
