lol, it's all good. I can't blame Gadget one bit. I mean there is absolutely no news on anything else coming out other than Android this and that. wifey phone is out of contract with t-mobile... I'm up for an upgrade... oh the possibilities :laughing6:

I agree. I have been having to much fun with WM. I know I will change eventually, but for now I am liking WM. I still like Gadgets the best.:thumbright:

This rom is very nice...worked great but Internet Sharing doesn't work...at least for me.

The wifi router did the job but it don't seem to charge the battery while the wifi router is on. How can I get internet sharing working.

Great job on the ROM! I have 2 issues:

1- how do you get T9 to work?
2- I downloaded windows mobile and now when i go to the start menu and scroll programs, it all runs together. no distinction for the folders, just a bunch of gobligook?

Wow. Congrats on moving up.
I guess I've just been lucky... this is my original Diamond and it's never had a real issue that wasn't my fault.
That said, I'm not interested in the TP2- especially at those prices. I'm going to wait until some time in 2010 to get a WM7 device or something that I really like.
I just got my son the HTC Hero... that is really slick. I almost kept it for myself. But I still like my Pre.

Okay, it appears that the Myphone app is the culprit? I'm trying to sync with that program but it doesn't seem to work, any ideas? it also causes the start menu to go crazy.

Have you tried installing the latest version of my phone? And did you install another tsk? The start menu going nuts is an issue with WM 6.5.

I really like this ROM, awesome job!!!

I didn't listen to you originally though, I went back and flashed the stock sprint ROM and then reflashed gadget and all is well now. No more weird stuff with the start menu. I do have one question, how do I get the predictive text to work? I have the box checked and have set it to suggest 4 words but it's not working. I have to type every friggin letter. Any help would be appreciated :)

install diamond tweak, cab below. Under settings at the very end there is a enable t9 button. should work then. hope this helps.

How do I control the in-call volume? As it is now, it stays at the same volume if try to adust it up or down.

Got it figured out. Apparently it's already set on the lowest volume you can put it on. I couldn't get the phone conversation any quieter but I could turn the volume of the conversation up. Some people talk louder than others and I would like to turn the volume down BUT, can't.

By default the auto rotation was turned off and the send key was set to manually rotate the screen. I installed Voice Command and had to reassign the send button to VC.

I can't get any screens to rotate. I enable rotation in G-config and did the calibration and I flipped the device around side to side and the display will not go to landscape.
I tried the home screen and Opera and the position stays fixed.
Is there some other configuration needed?

Bit confused here since I've been off of Gadget's rom awhile. Anyway, to the best of my recollection, I was using a different program for screen rotation. Unforturnately I don't remember what it was for sure (GSen?), although I'm sure it is listed in a post a few up from the one you quoted from Procter. More recently I've used Flip It, which I can post if you can't find with a search.

If you want Canada, press C on the menu. If other, I don't know. I'd like to add European cities but can't figure out how.

OMG i LOVE this ROM! i just flashed it last night and it does what no other cool looking rom has done for me, work fast, thanks a bunch for providing a rom tha t looks good and works fast.

However, i do have 2 issues or inqueries.
1. The Sprint Navigation that was provided with the latest release of the rom (attached CAB file) is not working properly. it starts but never gets farther then the splash screen. any info you have for me would be good. i tried to uninstall it but it doesnt seem to be managed by "remove prgrams" tool.

2. The only thing that i liked from the last ROM i had was AutoFill for recipients in texts and emails. Is there a cab for this or anyway you could implement this feature? its a real time saver for me.

Not sure about Sprint Nav. By autofill, do you mean XT9? If you click and hold the keyboard symbol, should bring up a menu with different keyboard options, including XT9 if it was cooked into this rom.

no, not XT9. i dont know the exact word for it. but its just for the recipients in the "To:" field.

it works like the google search field i want to send a message to Jon Smith. i start typing jo and beneath it gives me a few selections to tap so i dont have to type every letter. and when i tap a selection it fills in their name and cell phone number.

this is instead of hitting "Add recipients" and then selecting from the contacts list. Which can be taxing since i have over 700 contacts

For some reason the e-mails stopped coming. The ROM really is done at 2.00? I was hoping for one last one that would let that T9 texting thing work for me. I even installed that other app, but since the default T9 keyboard doesn't exist, it doesn't work.

I've been using this ROM for about a month now and it is VERY stable!!! I do have one question? When I take pic's, they don't seem to go to the photo screen where I can just scroll over and see them, I have to go into file explorer to find them? Also, if I want to text a pic, I can't, it takes me directly into my email account to send a pic?

Hi,

I just installed this rom, and feels so quick and stable. I'm rather new to using custom roms, and have a bit of newbie questions.

The additional cabs linked on 1st page (picturemal, nav, etc) ...can they be installed on Internal Storage and work just fine?

Is there a way for the screen to lock when the power button is pressed or when the screen blanks? I it to lock during a long End press, but that takes rather long and I have to do it manually (and many times I forget).

The cabs can be installed to Internal Storage. In fact, I recommended that you do it that way. As far as automatically locking the phone, search for a program called DeviceLock 1.2 it should enable all kinds of options for the lock to work under.
