I was actually looking for that as an EXT to put in my kitchen but I couldn't find it and then forgot all about it!

Would you post a link to the cab and I'll either make it work or else post an update with it included.

I'm not sure if there is a "real" fix for the programs tab but I'll look. For now we just have to do the Start page trick.

marketplace actually works very well.. although having a bigger screen will take better advantage of its UI design.

still getting random resets when trying to play mp3s with the media player.
its got something to do with me selecting the mp3, allowing it to play a bit, then pressing the power button to turn the screen off, OR increasing the volume.
it usually resets within the first 30sec - 1min.
i have to press the power button to get the screen to go off, or else it'll stay on because of the extusb dongle attached.

i use the extusb dongle so i can have 3.5mm jack output in my car.

Look here. It has the wifi sharing built into the comm manager.

I haven't had this issue and I do almost exactly the same thing (I leave my screen on since I'm plugged into the car charger as well).

I'll see if I can duplicate the problem and figure it out.

New versions up in posts #1 and #3. AL_CommManager_Suite_with_WifiSharing_1_1 is now included.

I'll try to skin the Comm Manager a little better in future versions.

I'm not sure why the regular WiFi panel looks the way it does. It's on and it works fine but the text is always grayed out.

I'll update the OEM/EXT packages for the kitchen a bit later today.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with random resets too. It's been happening with 4.0 and previous versions of BonsaiROM as well.

It happens the most while I'm listening to mp3s with wmp. Now that Torx mentions it, it seems to happen while turning on/off the screen or playing with the volume, although half the time I'm turning on the screen to adjust the volume. Like the latest reset I had, I was listening to a podcast in wmp, turned on the screen, hit the up volume up button, the volume chimed louder, then soft reset.

If there's any more info you need or if you have any experiments you want to try, let me know.

This rom has been great and the only major problem I've had is with the random resets.

thanks,
-b

Re: BonsaiROM4.1 (23420)-WM6.5.1-Gen.Y Manila 2.1-Titanium-Sprint

yeppers i listen to large mp3 podcast mixes too. i can confirm last night, i pressed the power button to turn off the screen within about 10 seconds of the mp3 playing and it reset.

i tried it again, but this time i let the mp3 play for a minute, then i turned off the screen.. no reset. so it seems like if i turn off the screen immediately after the mp3 starts playing, it resets.

dunno if it has anything to do with it.. but the mp3s i listen to are 100+MB files, usually podcast mixes. it seems to happen mostly on these large mp3 files.

might have something to do with pshutxp or maybe the memory buffer is getting filled up too fast or something to do with memory management within the os itself.
