Watzone -- great ROM, I've been enjoying your cooking for a while now and keep coming back. I'm hitting an issue on the latest Manila 23414 where, after looking at 4 or 5 emails, the opening of the next mail will hang the phone with no way to cancel. I've left the phone sitting for hours to no avail. Even the power button won't shut off the screen -- so it's off with the cover to hard reset. I do this about every 10 minutes when going through email. It's so bad it's not usable. I doubt this is your issue, but perhaps something you can see if you can reproduce so we can get to the bottom of it. I'm going to (sadly) install another ROM of the same build and see if it occurs.

Just installed your new build watzone. Looks great going to play around with it a bit today and tommorow. I see you changed the opera version and read u made it uninstalable, nice. Did u notice any difference using this version of opera?

Is there really no VoiceCommand here??

Isn't there a fix for the lack of Owner Information icon somewhere that can be built into a ROM so I don't have to edit the registry each time?

Also just noticed that the menus don't scroll w/touch. I can only scroll down with the d-pad. Even touching the arrows won't scroll down.

But seriously... this is a gorgeous ROM. Using the Titanium only and trying the new Mobile Shell 3.5. A promising combination.

That's being caused by the Showcase task manager. You can uninstall it and the email problem should be resolved. It's weird, some people get the freeze and some people don't.

This Opera version is OK. I really haven't noticed much difference. I tried the newest 9.7 but I still don't like it much.

Wow man, that's a lot of stuff going wrong! I have owner Info, Voice Command, and scrolling fine. I've never tried SBC Shell but I hear it's pretty darn cool.

OK everybody, I cooked a ROM with 23420 SYS (with the new Contact Manager) and I will probably post it tomorrow. I want to run a few more tests and make sure there are no big screwups. So far so good though.

Awesome. I tried another couple of ROM builds and I'm super disappointed. I'm excited to come back to your ROM without the Showcase mgr. Thanks for the quick resolution! I assume the Showcase Mgr shows up in the Remove Apps list. If not, I suppose you could drop a tip.

It's in the Remove Programs list so removing is no prob.

EDIT: It's called "e-Natives Technology ShowcaseSuite-1.1.0"

Sweet can't wait to check out the new build. Yeah i tried out 9.7 too but didnt like it too much. Seem to get lots of crashes with it. But if u go to sites like sears.com or redbox.com you will see how they open on this build compared to the one you were using before.

Update. Just noticed few things so far. When u have your favorites added in manila and u try to text from the little icon underneath the pic. If it goes to the pick sms or email screen it will freeze the phone unless u close it. After u click the icon again it will work and send u too the text screen for the contact u were picking. Seen it on a few other roms so its probably a build issue. But seems to be fine after that first time it happens. The other was that push internet doesnt seem to work when u add a bookmark. Not sure if it was a problem on one of your other roms. Maybe making opera uninstalable messes with the push internet.

That's one of the Showcase symptoms reported by a few people. If it keeps happening just uninstall Showcase via the Remove Programs in System.

Slightly new look and new Contact Manager.

I removed "G-Config" and "AT Contacts" (not really needed).

This SYS had all of the sounds turned on by default. I added a reg edit while cooking to mute the phone so BE SURE AND TURN YOUR SOUND BACK ON AFTER FLASHING! I did this because my wife was complaining about all of the Alert sounds (I do most of this stuff at night) and believe me, we want to keep my wife in a good mood concerning my ROM making!

Does anyone out there know how to edit theme colors (not manila) in the new 6.5.1 systems? I have driven myself half crazy with reg editing my custom tsk files to get them to work. This ROM is the closest I've gotten to what I want but I still need to darken the red in some of the menu selections and also get rid of the gray behind the text in some of the notification bubbles. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
