Re: |V|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) ** | Oct 25th | Manila 2.1

does anyone no how to exit programs that dont have an x or ok to exit, or have exit in its file menu, besides having to go to task manager or holding the phone key to get to taskmanager to exit a program? plus it doesnt seem like programs close, still be running in background when exit, any feedback?

I was wondering the same thing. I used to use the little corner to exit background programs.

yeah, what i see is happening is that even when you close a program that does have an x or ok to close, it still runs in the background which if you dont know unless you got to taskmanager it drains the battery real fast, had a full 100% but didnt know programs still running in background, battery went down under 50% in less than an hour. the 6.5.1 on is cool except for that, may have to go back to 6.5.

True, I may have to do the same. This build is very limiting. You can't even use an installed keyboard, you have to use the ones built into the rom because there is no input setting so you can set your keyboard.

Edit: Well, I have found a solution, you hold the keyboard button if you want to use it but still no input to change settings etc.

I also found out that the task manager can be accessed by holding the send key.

I just walked my friend through unlocking his phone and flashing this build online and he is having freezing issues when typing and also cannot send/receive MMS (when he does, his texts are erased). I'm on a GSM Diamond2, so I'm not familiar with the bugs of the CDMA builds but read that previous releases had these issues....are these still known issues or is something wrong with his flash?

I believe they are known issues. The text freezing has occurred in the past like 4 releases oddly.

Ah ok. No fixes? Is this just NRG's builds or all CDMA Diamond builds?

i already knew about holding the send key, but was hoping there was another solution besides having to go through all that.
