Re: CDMA Diamond Radios

For the record, Upper Michigan Alltel/ Version. Tried stock alltel1.12.?Radio: GPS was real slow. telllus 1.0.4 better GPS but poor phone reception.
update:Tried sprint 1.12.34F great but Pathaway crashes at start. Going to try stock again.
Pathaway crashing not related, back to stock alltel, seems to have signal in more places.

Was wondering the same?! Finally bought a used Diamond (Bell Canada)

When it boots up it shows 1.04.02V...I guess that's the stock Bell radio? Can't find it here or on the HTC site though

Scared to change it without being able to go back to it

Any help appreciated!

Edit: Well I found the stock Bell rom, flashed it, but it didn't flash the radio...weird...maybe it didn't include the radio? oh well doesn't matter. The Telus 1.04.05V works great, plus others report success with it so I'll stick with this one.

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios

switched from latest Sprint to Telus. I am amazed how much cooler (temperature) it operates. also, more bars consistently.

i recommend telus.

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios

Can anyone point me to an upload of the 1.12.34F sprint radio that is not in .exe format? I need to download an install all via the phone.

I don't even see the Sprint 1.12.34 on the first page, I thought the Sprint 1.11 was the latest...?

just open the .exe w/winrar, 7zip, etc. and extract the .nbh, rename, save to storage card & you should be good to load the updated radio w/the bootloader.

radios can also be found here - http://everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=43

if you flash an original/shipped ROM it will wipe/write the original radio as well.
