I don't know what kind of crazy phone crack my diamond was smoking during that first flash, but after reflashing the 2.1 seems to be working just fine with typing and switching keyboards. Guess it was just a bad flash, you can discount all of my ranting and raving.

yeah seems to be working pretty well now, will keep messing with it. I have a couple of questions though.

1) what determines when the animated weather comes on home screen? It does it about half the time Im in home screen.

2) did you know if there was a way to add a "games" folder shortcut that I can add to the programs below the clock?

yeah im running into too many bugs and freezes regarding the keyboard, Im going to relfash stock then reflash 21882 and see if it was a one time anomaly

It just worked - I didn't do anything special that I know of. Maybe more recmodding?

I thought you mentioned you were gonna try using a task manager from the xperia 2, did you not ever do that?

Oh that - its in 28005. Seems to work good too. I didn't have to do anything special - it was uploaded to xda-developers as a cab so I converted it to an EXT and cooked it in... nothing special.

I've attached both the cab and ext if you want to mess with them.
