Wm 6.5.3 28014 & 21882 ROM|SYS 12/17/09

Did anyone have problems with Pocket IE with 28011? I couldn't get it to launch at all.

I'd love to go to 28014 if I know IE works!

if for some reason teh cooked IE doesnt i think you can just install the latest ie cab over the rom and it should work fine.

same darn [error]!!! anyone have a clue, seems that everything after 28002 is doing this

Here is the deal, freshly unpacked Calc's kitchen from 11/10. popped in the rom and sys (28014), selected options at the top, built rom. I did not select or unselect any options. verified that _files are selected and _modules are not. still getting [error] If anyone can shed some light, I would be seriously appreciative!

I think that's where I found it before, it didn't work but there just must have been an problem on the install, I just ran the install again on dareeseboy's latest and it works fine.

@orangekid: I did just upload it, but I downloaded it last weekend so I'm guessing a new sys should be out very soon.

@mr. squonk: Did you try my kitchen loading one of my saved roms? I noticed you mentioned that you were trying it with 28014...did 28011 in my kitchen work ok?

@The00Stranger: something must be missing in the recent SYS's for IE... I'll have to check it out.

mr.squonk, are you getting the "check HTCLOG" error message. I have also gotten same failure with anything after 28002. I could never get any ROM to boot past 28002. I had posted this problem in Calk's forum area. Even Da_reeseboy's 28011 SYS packaged failed in Calk's VK. So, I ended up getting da_reeseboy's VK with 28011, and that cooked ok. I just added 28014 and that cooked fine in da_reeseboy's VK.

Built in OMJ's Kitchen so lots of thanks go to him for putting together such a great kitchen and letting me use it. I will emphasize this is a beta build, but I think its a pretty smooth setup. Test it out and let me know what you think - I still have my own tweaks to add and my own personal choices in programs to put in the kitchen, but I thought I'd share and get a few opinions.

Has anyone else experienced terrible battery life with 28014? It's not just this ROM, I was running NRG's 28014 for a few days and had the same problem. A couple of texts and about 5 minutes of talking, and I'm down to 5% battery after 10 hours.
