Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

Hey guys, I'm sticking with Mighty 5 after trying out a few WM 6.5 ROMS. Nothing has the same vibe as a Mighty ROM. So in order to help with this ringer bug issue I am doing a little experiment...

I have disabled the HTC Volume Control after realizing that the issue started once i put my phone from being in vibrate all day back to ring in the evening. Using TF3D I went to the Sound Settings and noticed that the ringer volume was back up to 60% but the actual ringer text as seen through TF3D was set to "Vibrate" somehow.

I am hoping that disabling the HTC Volume Control and using the stock WM volume control will rectify this issue. I will report back with the results after a day of testing at work...

If anyone else is interested in disabling the HTC volume control you can see this thread over at XDA for more details. I have confirmed that this disables HTC Volume with WM 6.5

NOTE: I am not confirming that this works... I am still in the phases of testing this. The best way of implementing this change is leaving the HTC Volume Control dlls out of the ROM. i will report back after a day or two of testing.

Oddly I don't have the bug of the ringtone loss in MR5-beta that was posted in the other thread.

Haha that's funny that a beta is more stable than a actual release.

Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

A couple questions maybe someone can answer for me:

Does this ROM use the Rhodium Notification Enhancement? I did not see it listed, but I have noticed it in ROMs before w/out being mentioned in the build list...

What is the amount of device storage available immediately after install?

Thanks!

I wanna say around 60-70MB. I think I still have quite a bit after installing my programs though.

I know the beta had the Rhodium menu and notification enhancments.
I love the menu enhancment but like the old notification better.

I've heard that when there is no talk in the forum, that means there is no problems with the Rom......... I think I hear crickets in here......
