Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

I've been having lockups on answering the phone with the S2U application that is cooked in the ROM. Has anyone else been having that problem? Like I can't answer the phone at all until the other person hangs up and then everything is normal. And do you have S2U2 installed?

Mike, can you possibly cook a version where it is just the buttons to answer the phone instead of the sliding?

i think i've had that problem with htc's s2a, but i've experienced it more with s2u2's version of s2a...i really like the full screen caller id on s2u2 but the inability to pick up alot caused me to abandon my hopes for it overall. have you deleted the registry keys that stops wm's pop up from masking htc's s2a? oh and although it rarely happens to me, when the cooked in htc s2a locks up, i think you can still use the hard key to answer the call.

The incoming call problem is still there also. There was a fix posted earlier for it that works for me.

using a registry editor (like PHM registry editor) go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Today
then delete the keys labeled "Bubble" and "Toast"
after a soft reset your phone shouldn't show the wm 6.5 popup over the s2a dialer

Other than those two things it works great for me.
These two.

Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

I put together a small Mortscript file to enable repeat notifications. I know there are some programs out there that will do this but I like to keep things simple. Post 10 & 12 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74685

Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

I am having a lot of trouble with the touch screen keyboard on my Touch Diamond (Sprint) upon fresh install of the latest Mighty 6. It likes to go away and not come back, especially if I hit the button to change the keyboard to numbers/symbols. Anyone else experience this and/or know what the deal is? I had this problem with Juicy 8 as well.

After that, I tried installing certificate files for Exchange RPC through File Explorer, and they would not install. Then the thing finally locked up and would not even boot. Then it would not even hard reset (just hung at the Preparing for First Use screen every time). I had to downgrade to the latest Mighty 4 build (which works great) by entering the upgrade mode via holding Pwr, Vol Up, and Arrow right while hitting the reset button, and using RUU from there.

Thanks,
Dave

when you say "fresh install" do you mean you reflashed back to your carrier's shipped rom? if not, then it's highly advised to do so. if you did then i'm not sure what may be causing the issue. i'm using nikoan69's ezinput 2.1 v2 which looks pretty cool and haven't noticed your problem

on another note, i have been experiencing some freezes in the threaded text (as i have before on a previous MR 6 release) but it's actually not too bad. it usually happens when exiting one conversation and then it'll freeze on the screen when i try to select a different one. nothing major though. great rom mike! hopefully if i ever save enough money to get the tp2 i'll see you over there!
