I don't remember what the solution was. I'll look into it today.

hey it was everything except the ones with "alerts", I wound up getting it fixed though. all i had to do was go to the folder that has the ringtones, and set it as a ringtone from there, and now they all work fine through "sounds and notifications.

Just a bump.
This is really nice so far... hopefully it will last until whenever I get my next phone. Which hopefully will still be WM. Android looks tempting... we'll see.

I saw that... good chance actually.
I was reading that it still wasn't perfect yet- but I've got the EXT files and was considering trying it out.
I'll give it a shot by cab installing first.

Thanks.
I use a lot of blue themes on both this phone and my Pre. Both of my favorite teams (Gators & Magic) use it.
Yes, this is Opera10b2. I love it. A vast improvement from 9. Only thing is I haven't found an easy way to just minimize it.

Still going good. Sense is so much better than regular manilla (not totally sure why but just like it better). read a tweet from nrg about 011 having better battery life. Wondering if you have followed that.

Also saw you have the pre listed. been looking hard at that phone and wondering if the user ui is worth it. Tested at a sprint store and wasn't too impressed with the keyboard, but the interface seemed cool. Probably going to wait for a new phone release.

Glad to have you releasing again...tho omj does seem to make it easy.

Something I'm playing with... a 21882 Titanium only ROM. Just the basics included- things that don't get updated much. Has 58MB of memory for installing stuff, the Rhodium dialer, WM7 v6.9 mod and the nice icons on top.
I think I'm going to start using this w/MS3.5.
Whaddaya think?

Bump for a link up in the OP.
Just missing that darn icon to change the long press end key setting.
When I figure that one out, I'll rebuild and re-upload.

I have found a glitch... in the messaging app, the Send button gets greyed out and unusable after a few uses. Very strange. Even continues after a soft reset. I can send new messages, but I can't respond/send from an established thread. Kind of an inconvenience.

I believe its just a problem with the HTC Messaging Client it self, when ported to the diamond at least, because i have that same problem too when i was using OMJ's 21887 titanium rom. I alway believe that may be why (along with mms not working no matter how u re configured the server setting) the reason why mystery took it out of his roms. The client just seems to be to heavy for the diamond. Not only that but the thing i hate about it must it that, when using the new client, if you have a long convo going, it has to scroll through all the messages until it gets to the bottom before you can use it.

That's an interesting point.
I like the look and "feel" of the new client, but if it has that kind of impracticality, I'll probably end up dropping it.
I was hoping that without Sense/Manila, it might have enough resources to run properly.

Great Rom! I like the new buttons for the the phone. Do you have a fix for messaging though?

Also, the picture that you have for the titanuim version shows the wider selection area - I guess this is called wm7 but I'm not sure. When I run this system I get the standard narrower titanium look.

I took the WM7 project out of the Titanium version to save space, as I rarely actually use Titanium any more. It's mostly something I'm using with MS3.5.
I think I have a fix for the messaging app- it's been working on my phone- but I'm not 100%. I'll know for sure with a little testing this weekend on the newest version I'm working on.

I see the same thing on a custom 21887 based Titanium rom cooked in OMJ's kitchen. What message client would you suggest using? Thx in advance.

I'm a pretty new user of OMJ's kitchen so please bare with me. I too am using OMJ's latest kitchen (1.6). So what you are saying is you are selecting (TRUE) the HTC Message Client_1_1_19203223.00 in Shared Devices:012_Sense2.5.1920 and deselecting (FALSE) Application System_Message Client 1.0.1920.3223.00 in Shared Devices: Packages? Do you think this will work in a Titanium only build?

No, I don't. I wasn't clear. I'm not using any Sense EXTs.
I am using Message Client 1.0.1920.3223.00. And it looks great. I haven't had any extensive sms exchanges to see if it eventually grays out, but so far it's good.

Attaching my build "erv" file for your enjoyment, if you want to check it out.

Thanks for sharing. Mine is similar to yours, but a bit leaner. I cab install a number of programs including for e.g. cleanRam, Opera, myPhone, PIM Backup, etc. I also leave off Office, Windows Live Stuff, etc. I'm running SPB MS3.5.3 on top of Titanium. The SMS still got grayed out (unusable). It's clumsy switching between traditional mode to send and conversation mode to read, since in traditional mode you can't see all of your message. Attached is my .erv for your entertainment.

Just a "bump" to note a new PowerROM Titanium NoSense version up.
I'm getting very "close".
This one has a lot of space left after flash for some reason.

Activesync hangs touchscreen. It acts as though the phone is connected to a pc - even when the phone isn't connected.

I've never heard of that... are you using the 3b [Sense] or 4.4.2 [Titanium] ROM? I did see something like that on very old ROMs, but not for a long time.
Did you run Clear Storage after flash?

Re: [ROM-20091227] PowerROM v3b-SenseUI & 4.4.2 [Titanium] Sprint

Yes I cleared storage. I'm using the latest Titanium rom. Try it out, see if it does the same for you. You don't have to have an Exchange server to test it, just go to the Activesync program, see if you anything on the touchscreen works. I was able to setup the server by srolling down with the hardware button, but I still can't use the touchscreen from the activesync program. See if you can - I'll re-flash if someone else is able to get anything to work there.

Are you saying that you run ActiveSync when the phone isn't connected via USB?
I think I see what you're saying. When I open the ActiveSync program manually, there seems to be an issue with the touchscreen responding. But A/S is working normally.
Is this an issue because you have to setup something manually in A/S that can't be done from the server/pc side?
Something very interesting that I found just now. I can use the touchscreen when I am viewing the screen on my pc (using SOTI PocketControllerPro), but not when I physically touch the screen.
I can't imagine that this has anything to do with the way that I made the ROM- but I'll see if I can do some research and check it out.

Hi Trident, if you are using OMJ kitchen, he added a patched biotouch.dll selection in the sip area. this breaks activesync. If you deselect this, and recook, activesync screen works again. I noticed this last week. Also, if you delect the biotouch.dll from the windows directory, this should fix the problem without reflashing. there may be a side effect from this. for me it caused my ability to scroll in email view to stop, but I was able to set up active sync again. I personally just recooked without the patched dll and called it a day. Hope this helps.

Personally, I don't care. I like the biotouch SIP and never have to mess with A/S on the device- it still works and syncs fine.
But I'll cook a version without it if it's needed for someone else.
Thanks for the fix!

I don't use Activesync for connecting to pc much, well I guess I do every time I flash :). I need activesync on the phone to connect to an Exchange server over the internet. I was able to set up Exchange / Activesync on the phone but I couldnt' change server settings - I couldn't stop "push" and go to manually sending and recieving.

I would appreciate the fix that rileyd5 talked about! I remember this being an issue with another rom as he described.

Yes, I agree with you. the only workaround seems to be the install sip approach each time to change sip which Groove put out there a while back. I find myself missing c qwerty too much so I end up cooking a 1.5 ezinput and fingerkeyboard so I get the best of both worlds. lol.

Ok. I guess I'll do the exact same build without BioTouch.
I can't stand FingerKeyboard- I don't know why. It just never seems to work right for me. I do like TouchPal, so maybe I'll try this new build with that. (I don't think there is an EXT for it, so it will just be installed by cab... or by Sashimi if I can get that working correctly!)
No time today, but I'll do this by the weekend.

You can always make an EXT package from the touchpal cab. Also, have you tried Swype? I used to use touchpal, but now use swype almost all of the time.

HOLY COW.
I found a cab for it and installed it. I was a little edgy about installing an 8MB SIP, but figured I could uninstall or just reflash if I didn't like it. I think I like it. I'll try it for a few days until I reflash this weekend- but this could be a winner.
Thanks.

Yeah, unfortunately it uses bmp's for the skins. It would be lots smaller if they would have used png's. I've attached the cab I've edited. I think it only takes up about 6 mb. I removed some of the tutorial images and also increased the size of the skin so that it takes up about 1/2 of the screen when it's deployed in portrait. It works fine when installed to internal storage as well.
