I removed some of the tutorial images and also increased the size of the skin so that it takes up about 1/2 of the screen when it's deployed in portrait. It works fine when installed to internal storage as well.

thx...this is kinda funky...kinda strange dragging your stylus around instead of tapping

You are joking, right? You don't really use a stylus for this, do you?:silent:
Supposed to be all about the finger... swiping the finger... get it? :evil4:

Yep but this was really designed to be bigger on the screen for wvga devices. I cant get by without using the stylus to swipe. Then I get frustrated and use it like a normal sip which works as well :)

Try the cab I posted on the previous page. I made the skin larger so that it's easier to use with your finger.

Re: [ROM-20091227] PowerROM v3b-SenseUI & 4.5.4 [Titanium] Sprint

Bump for the new version on OP.
Check out SASHIMI to learn more about it and use it.
I now use it to install my custom ringtones, apps that go in main memory and Internal Storage and it also completes all of my Device & Owner information.
I also have my PIM.vol and Registry backed up.
I know there's a way to have it fill in all of my software keys, but I haven't figured that one out yet.

Re: [ROM-2010,0123] PowerROM v3b-SenseUI & 4.5.6 [Titanium] Sprint

Another bump.
The previous version gave me some minor issues (that just annoyed me).
This one seems much more stable.
Clear storage immediately after flash, just to make sure.

Only thing I forgot to do was change the version number.
But I do have my old splash/boot screen working!

FYI, the latest Titanium locks the screen for Exchange setup again.

Yep. I thought the latest Biotouch had this fixed. But apparently not.
I guess I'll have to recommend not using this if you need A/S to be modifiable on the device side. At least until I get rid of or replace Biotouch or it gets fixed.

Since I don't use Exchange and never need to modify anything in A/S, it doesn't bother me, so it stays in the version I'm using.
But if you like it, and that's the only thing that stops you from using it, I'll make a build without it this weekend. Just let me know.:thumbleft:

Also, I'll go back and update the screen shot on the first post- you're right, it's got the WM7 Titanium project selection there- I dropped that a while ago.

PowerROMS5 is ready. I'll update the changes in the first post later.
Here's the link.
It's a Sense ROM- 23541 build.

You have two options for a file explorer. You can use Total Commander, which is in the main Start menu. Or you can use the MS File Explorer, which is in Start; System folder.
Personally, I use Resco Explorer2010, but I can't include that in the ROM. Highly recommended. And now includes a great Task Manager.

Not sure why this would be happening... mine synced perfectly.
A few things that I'm sure you've already done/checked:
  1. After flash, run Clear Storage.
  2. Before you connect to the PC, delete your previous profile(s).
  3. (This is going to sound dumb) Make sure your USB cable is connected securely and completely to your Diamond. (Don't ask how I know to suggest this.:disgust:)
  4. Un-select any options that you DON'T need to sync to. I had to take the check mark off of OneNote before sync would complete.
That's all I can think of. Maybe someone else has an idea on this. There weren't any changes to the Calendar or ROM in general that should have effected syncing. I do have the BioTouch SIP included instead of FingerKeyboard, but it hasn't caused this kind of issue- it was always messing with messaging. But I haven't had either issue.

No problem. I have found that the Calendar takes a long time to sync the first time. But it is quicker after that.

This is by far my favorite ROM so far. The phone is very responsive. At very rare times I can't seem to activate the phone by pressing the power button, but this occurs so infrequently I don't mind it. I have no problems synching my outlook exchange. I can't wait for the next release. I'm curious about the new changes that were made to the TP2

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback.
I'm still using it as well. I've had the same issue with the power button, but like you said, it's only rarely and I have no idea what might be causing it. I've found it's only happened when the phone has been sitting unused for a long time.

I'm not planning on any changes until I can get a good call history "widget" or something for the home tab. I'm not satisfied with the current call history tab add-in. I want a real tab for phone functions or at least a good set of icons for the Home tab.

If you downloaded 4.8.2 and it's working for you, then fine. If you are having trouble with the phonepad, like I was, download the new 4.8.3 (it still says 4.8.2 when you flash it) and flash. That's the only change.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be my last ROM for the Diamond... I just got the notice (from Sprint, PPCG, etc) that the EVO is going to be released June 4th. I'm probably not going to flash again before then.

Trident

Thanks for your work.
You have one of my favorite roms.
( i am giving many roms a try before i settle on one)

I am intending to use spb and like the lean rom that u have.

I have a question regarding the speaker/sound.

The speakerphone is barley audible.

Also, when i listen to songs through the speakers, it is low as well.

Even the new bing turn-by-turn lady is not too loud.

I have this problem in other roms as well.
IS there a way to imporve the speaker sound.

I read somewhere that "audio para" will fix this, but I am not too sure what tha is and how it works..yet.

Thanks in advance and i hope u enjoy the evo !!

I've noticed that as well on the recent ROMs. I don't know that there is a fix. I rarely use the speaker for anything that requires loud volumes, but even outside, in a breeze, the speakerphone is hard to hear.
I think that the "audio para" hack was only used on the older WM6.1 builds. There isn't anything that is individually selectable in the kitchen to boost normal volume.
When I have some time, I'll look through some of the tweak files and see if there is something in there that could be added in.

Ah, because that version of the taskbar isn't meant for the newest versions of these ROMs. I remember having that issue as well. I believe you also lose the Send button on the messaging app if you are using PRv5 with Sense.
Which ROM are you using? Sense or not?

I include a modified taskbar in all of my ROMs though, so you're probably best not adding in the tsowen taskbar (as nice as it is).

I think we have a winner. Uploading now. Should be there by 4pm EDT.
Huge thanks to OMJ who got me the 21904SYS/ROM files for his kitchen.
I got rid of WM7 Titanium project and added in the Rhodium ringtones... some of you might want to use them. I'm not including all my crazy ringtones for now as I'm using this phone primarily for business.
I immediately notices smoother graphics- possibly because I went to the Omnia graphics drivers from the OEM CDMA.

Darnit. Spoke too soon. Still no working camera or calculator. I'm going to try one more thing. Links on the OP are dead. Stay tuned.

For right now, I'm going to recommend NRGZ28's Titanium 21905 ROM. I'm using it in between testing my own ROM and it's pretty good. Not exactly what I want (especially without SASHIMI) but everything works. Cancel that. SMS & email aren't working on that ROM. Crap.:angry7:
