Re: [ROM-20090614] PowerROM v2.6.4- Titanium [build 21812] NO Manila [Sprint & Generi

Trident - this is a great implementation of Groove's rom. Everything's smooth. I'm on Telus but the Sprint seems to work pretty good so far. I'll try generic when you get that out.

I like the double sized Titanium launchers, and the fact you included a program launcher... but it is harder navigating especially when you're close to the top or bottom. It's difficult to "bounce" off the top and bottom. Anyways, thanks.

Only CABS I like to add to it are Total Commander, CleanRam and Audio Booster

Cheers

It's definitely a trade-off with the Titanium getting bigger. It's a trade I'm willing to make.
Only reason I don't add those cabs is that I use Resco Explorer & MemMaid. What does Audio Booster do? I never even looked at that- I don't do much audio listening except at the gym.

The audio boost CAB increases the speaker volume and I believe, (but haven't tested, cause I never use) the earphone volume too. Great for when I have to listen to voice mail messages from my home phone which get sent to me as email attachments.

Is there a mehod to change the 6.5 screen plug-ins to normal height rather than the double height you have set them at?

Those panels are the result of having the WM7 Titanium Project installed.
I'd think that the only way to change that would be to install another theme on top of that one. I looked, and there is no way to uninstall that theme since it was put there as part of the ROM building process. I suppose it would be possible to build a ROM without it... but I like the way it looks. Maybe I'll try one without it sometime this week. I've found some other themes that I also like and might try them as well.

Isn't that the audioPara thing? I thought that was there.... hmmm. Apparently not.
I'd like that as well. I'll find it and include it in the next build.
***Found it... will be included for sure.

Thanks.. I was on Groove's for a long time and kept on meaning to add it in, but was flashing so often I'd forget. I started adding it about two weeks ago and it makes a big difference.

I got frustrated with some of the stuff that was happening and did a build yesterday without the Tachi dialer (and therefore without the extraneous BT notification) and with the Audio Booster. I'm going to play with it a bit today and post it if all works out well tomorrow morning (or late tonight).

Trident, been using your rom for 3 days now and am loving it. This is the first 6.5 rom i've used and only the second flashed on (used rstguys 6.1-which was great). This rom has had great battery life and as i have gotten used to 6.5 it become easier to use. Most functions are much quicker tho with text messages the menu, action and touch screen seem to take more time than the other roms i have used. Haven't had as much time to play as i would have liked but am looking forward to any updates. I have read a lot of these posts and i appreciate your enthusiam. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I really appreciate the input. I must admit that I thought that very few people were using this ROM... I love it and I'm glad others are getting some benefit.
I'll be putting together an update this weekend with the new 21815 SYS and including everything I've got on the ROM I've been using the last few days. I've switched back to an older dialer after removing the Tachi dialer and made a few other little changes. It's running great so far. I'm also using some files that fix the SMS sluggishness.
