THanks. My mom works for Alltel and she said a verizon rep said thay would need to buy new phones and i said BS. LoL.

I want to speak to whoever said that n speak my mind. We will see. We are going to swich planns soon and I wanted to take advantage of my insurance plann and get a new phone. ( this one is banged) then switch over.

yeah, you will not need to buy a new phone, unless your phone is like from the 90's haha it says on alltel's website that you will not need to and if action is required they will contact you! haha silly. Verizon guy is trying to nickel and dime us average worrysome joes; educate yourself to better prepare for the future. I hope verizon service in phoenix is better than alltel! haha

ah heck, tried searching for the thread but can't find it. In short, it's real easy: find ssMaPA, run it. under the init tabhit the INIT button. it loads your settings (takes a minute). You will see a list of all your manila applications like calendar and such. Click on the calendar and at the bottom you will see the line for arguments. It will have a $ in it. That's the cause of the problem. In most cases, it was used by HTC at some point. Now it just causes trouble. Remove it (backspace). Hit the Patch Enabled button and hit the save button. Then go under the Deploy tab and hit the deploy button.

That's suppose to write it to the phone. In truth it took me about 5-6 times of doing this before either I figured it out or it finally worked. If it doesn't work after a soft reset, just redo it a few times. Once it's really gone, manila will load the calendar in whatever way you set. It's the argument that's the problem because if you launch calendar through a shortcut it will come up correctly. Wish I could take credit for it, but I got if from xda

BTW: I notice a lot of roms using the older opera (conflip has 15958 I believe). I read on the opera site that this current version, 16277, has problems with flash/activeX. Any particular reason you chose 16277? I'm going to experiment a little but I deffinitly miss my flash enabled browser
solved I think: uninstalled fp7 and just used myflash3_1 and it worked. found solution on... XDA!

hey guys quick question; what text input are you using? the full qwerty is just so tough to use sometimes... I was using a compact qwerty from the EZinput from online spending but want to try phone pad.

phone keypad from diamond 2. i cant find any qwerty keyboard thats easier than using the phone keypad.

the SIP OEM i am using right now isnt having that problem with text input in google maps, btw. I'll be updating the first post soon with a handful of new stuff.

updates are up... except for the standard version. megaupload is being a real pain for me right now. but the other two versions are up, and theyre better than before- mem management is noticeably better.

i think i am going to put up some beta 6.5 soon, once i get the standard version up.

let me know how the new opera version works regarding flash. you might have to go into settings>advanced and enable plugins for flash to fully work. ive never really gotten into the whole flash thing, so im not 100% on it, but as far as i know this version should support it. and the SIP... ive been able to type in GoogleMaps so that seems to be fixed.

just give me a little feedback!

Well Tried it but S2A wont work. It never answers. Had sam problem with your last one also. I can use the slide or press the key and it never picks up, only silences ringer. Using the manilla clean.

wish it would work for me, id like to use a alltel based rom.
