It unzipped just fine, which is where I was having the process die...

Are you still recommending that we flash back to to the current sprint ROM, or are we good to go with a straight flash now?

If you are going same sys to same sys, you probably don't need to. I only do it if I start getting those weird problems after I flash.

*edit* I had to do it tonight because I got the "corrupted" backup data issue. But if I hadn't had any problems I would have just proceeded normally.

OK... so we have a few 6.5 versions under our belt and I have been cooking like a fiend to get us back to the solid foundation we had with the last 6.1 version...

We also have a crew of regular users... so... my question to you guys, at this point is, what outstanding changes need to be made before we can safely say that we have a good solid base for the 6.5 rom. Sys upgrades will take care of speed and memory etc... I'm looking for thoughts on any changes that need to be made to what we are currently using...

So hit me up with some feedback.

That's a good question. I think I am going to spend a couple of days just using everything. Thanks to what you've been doing I think we have a solid core, but I've flashed so much lately, I have to say I have not used everything in the ROM yet to get a feel for what apps/features/etc I like and which ones I don't . I'll keep you posted...

Thanks for responding. I searched and I see discussion of the feature, but I can't find any cab to install it...

On the stock ROM, when you are entering text (setting up passwords for e-mail, for example) and you hit the cursor in that field, the screen "jumps" down so the entry field is not covered by the keyboard. This version does not, so you have to try and manipulate the screen to see what you are entering. I thought maybe there was a reg edit or something, it was quite handy.

OK... I want to slow down, take a couple day break and get to know the new rom also... first I want to get all the outstanding glitches totally knocked out though... so if anyone has something in mind... shout it out.
