Yep... it does work. Just a lack of testing on my part. So guys you *should* be able to switch back and forth between the two dialers as much as you want by running the WM dialer restore to get all the features of the WM dialer. Then you can go back to the HTC dialer by uninstalling WM dialer restore through "remove programs" in the settings (the same way you uninstall any cab).

I finally got 3.2 to start working after flashing and reflashing like 5 times! lol Is there anyway i can just install the dialer from 3.3 instead of reflashing? I dont want it to go coocoo anymore. Thanks in advance!

There was no problem with flashing on 3.2.

What symptoms were you having? Did you do the recommended flash back to shipped rom?

yup and thats what fixed it! but i had to do it 3 times back and forth. now its working like a charm.

If you follow the instructions in my FAQ you will not have to do it multiple times.

I don't think they are going to be much help to you in that area... maybe I'm just not seeing the whole picture though... good luck with that.
