Thanks. I just use SSMAPA to do the same thing, and then I don't even have to modify any files. Much cleaner that way and it is cooked into the rom already so might as well make use of it. If anyone wants to do this, I can post a dummy .exe file that has no function, so that if you map the clock to this file, the clock will do nothing when you press on it.

Menu enchancements went out with 6.1. I use Calkulin's kitchen (an older modified version, but still his kitchen) so I'm not really sure why I would release a kitchen that he has already released.

Re: 5-25-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ V 2-8 *Swine-Flu Edition* [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 212

Help! I just tried your ROM 2.8 and the clock is not working. It's all white with zeros and I also have a white box with every TFD3 tab on the top left.

I did a hard reset after letting the customizations go through and it still has the same problem. Before I updated, I went from the caulkin 4.7 TP2 ROM to the stock sprint ROM, then to your new 2.8 ROM. Any ideas?

Thanks,

GP

There is no problem with the clock. It installs during customizations on this rom so it sounds like your customizations are not completing correctly. You said you flashed back to the stock Sprint rom which is not my recommended procedure. If you want my advice take a look at the instructions for flashing back to shipped in my FAQ in post #2.

*edit* This is all assuming that you are not applying any of your own customizations, which would be a more likely cause of this.

My only gripe w/ this ROM is the text messaging. It always freezes on me when I send a text, then press OK to go back to the text screen, and I have to soft reset at least 5 times a day b/c it freezes, and I can't do anything about it. any fixes?

It happens to me to, I found that if you delete the non important texts and try to keep the inbox not so full, it does not happens as much.

that makes alot of sense. but I love keeping all my texts, and I never delete anything (which is why it takes PIM backup like 30 minutes to restore my phone, 28 minutes restoring just my texts lol). I don't delete anything in my phone at all.

Oh I feel ya! I was the same way with mine. Could go back months with texts, but for now it is the small price for a great ROM. Will be glad when it gets fixed.
